SVCD Rip , Watching From Harddrive , it works for 5 minutes and goes blank

    i recently downloaded a rip of a movie , it works well , sound awesome , video awesome , but once i load it and watch it , 5 minutes goes by and it goes Blank. the video is in perfect condition , its not like its missing frames , it just goes blank and stays blank until i exit and come back and load it again and watch it from where i left off and then it happens again ,i go back where it got messed up and it works perfect then goes blank again later in the scence , i have to keep exiting and coming back.

    i dont have a clue to what is happening , i tried everything from windvd to powerdvd to windows media player . :(

    D00d, you need to _buy_ the WinDVD and/or PowerDVD. Their demo versions have the limitations that they only play video for specific amount of time and go blank after that. And your Windows Media Player did use probably WinDVD's codec which has the same limitation as WinDVD itself.
