    Hi All,

    As a complete newbie to this sort of thing, I have been trying to convert "Star Trek Nemesis" ( on 3 cd's ) to dvd.

    I have tried using TMPGEnc as well as dvdlab I also used IsoBuster, The file structure on the discs is as follows:

    EXT: -> scandata
    MPEG2: -> avseq01
    SEGMENT: -> empty
    SVCD: -> entries.svcd - info.svcd - lot.svcd - psd.svcd - search - tracks.svcd

    I used IsoBuster to extract avseq01 with the " extract but filter only M2F2 mpeg frames" option.

    I then imported the files into dvdlab which complained that the resolution and audio were not correct.

    I know i'm doing something wrong but i dont have a clue as to what it is. Is there a newbie tutorial that explains how i should go about doing the conversion.

    cheers

    DVDs expect 720x480, 352x480, 352x240, 720x576, 352x576 or 352x288 as a resolution. SVCDs fit as 480x480 or 480x576, youll have to do some re-encoding.
