I'm new at this, so no flames please. I just purchased the Phillips DVDR75 and it works great copying from my dish or my DVR deck, but trying to record from my VCR, (tape I recorded off television, not copy protected) I get a black and white image with red bars through it. If this is a RYFM issue, I can't seem to find it referanced in the FM. Anyone else encountered this and did you find a solution? I will try a different VCR with manual tracking adjustment tonight.
(teleport likes to see his logo) I guess you should try a video hardware forum, or try Google (NG option) or i suspect.. a converting issue.. Btw. both devices are PAL or both are NTSC ? with default switch settings ?
