I'm trying to capture some video from beta VCR. When I capture the video and play back everything is in sync. When I burn the DVD the audio starts out in sync, but the longer the DVD plays the more out of sync it gets. By the end of the DVD it's close to a second out of sync.

Capture using KWorld video capture card
    Pentium 4, 1gb RAM
    Burned using Ulead MovieFactory Lite
    Playback on stand-alone DVD player

    Thanks

I recommend trying AVI Video Converter & DVD Lab. Use AVI to convert your file to usable DVD files (.vob). Using the .vob files in DVD Lab will demux and create a .mpv file for video and .ac3 file for audio. When you compile the DVD it merges these two files. That's typically how I get sync problems corrected. If that doesn't work, DVD Lab has a feature to correct audio delay for DVD-compliant files. I know it sounds like a lot of work, but once you learn to do it, it's a breeze. Hope this helps!
