taking a gif from a website

    Hey, i recently saw a gif on a website that i thought would be neat to save on my hd, but when i right clicked it there was no save picture as....just options to stop it or rewind it....now is there anyway i could still dl it, like is there a program i could download inorder to save it on my hd....If this is a stupid question im sorry i just wanted the .gif pretty bad.....

    judging by the options you have for the picture, my guess is that it is not a picture, but if there is a copy option do that and then open paint or photo editor or anything really and then paste it on to that and save it, otherwise i dont know what u could do except say goodbye to the pic.

    Are you sure it's a .gif. Sounds like flash animation to me.
    You could see the source for the site and hunt down the right xxx.swf -file and download it somehow.
