thanks for the feed back. i stayed up last night and got it to work with nero. when you use nero you can use it for pretty much everything there is a program in nero that you can convert a movie to mpeg4 and i did it and it has good quality when you watch it on your ipod

If you're talking about nero recode2 then at least try another program before you commit to nero quality. I have encoded a few movies in recode2 during a lengthy trial and error experiment to get movies on my ipod. It works but just about everything else looks much better to me. Currently I am using cucusoft pretty successfully.

Hi i'd like to recommend you use this DVD to ipod video converter suite,
it can not only rip dvd to ipod but also can convert almost all kinds of video files in your hard disc, it's an all-in-one solution for dummies, it works perfect for me. You can download from http://www.allforvideo.com/download/iPodSuit_r56510.exe

*[bold]I wouldn't download a direct link to any executable file, especially a random one in a forum..[/bold]*

Try PQDVD instead, it is an established program, and converts nearly any video type into iPod-ready mp4. ;-)

Check this link to sample/purchase it - http://www.pqdvd.com/dvd-to-ipod-video-converter.html

/off topic, recommend the PSP version located on that site also, a real great converter, for psp users only though ;-)
