    Can you even see FTA channels e.g RTE?

    Yeah, I can get RTE1 and RTE2,TV3.

    What firmware version are you using. Press menu and system info? BTW if you have multiroom your cable must be split somewhere.

    Firmware is correct Scouser.

    Strange thing has just happened. the box is Downstairs in the front room and when i checked i could not see FTA channels. I knew that I could see them upstairs so I brought the box upstairs and plugged it in. I tried the sly sports default method and it exited to the Updating message and then Sly Sports appeared.

    what is the story with that ? The main connection is downstairs and tha box is always downstairs. I will bring it back downstairs to see if I can get the channels.

    Is it beside the powerinsertor and is it on?

    Brought it back downstairs and plugged it in and the channels are back.

    Thanks Karl and Sc0user, I really appreciate it. Afterdawn has never let me down !!!
