yes it will update with no problems from year to year or whenever an update is needed

-i tried installing Ad Aware 2007 but the scanner is said to be busy.the web update is said to be cannot connected to server.why??

Do you have any firewalls running?

If not their servers might be too busy try updating Ad-aware later.

 

i uninstall it already,intall it several times but not working.i have firewall on,the router and norton firewall.

-i got AVG anti spyware now but it says its a 30 day trial version.after that i cant use it anymore??
-can i use both windows defender and spyware blaster at once??if not how to disable the windows defender??i cant find it in control panel...

 

I recently downlaoded avg spyware, there was nothing about a 30 trail, did you download the free version.

 

well i got the license code and it was activated.haha,now i dont have to use the free version..

anyway,now i'm running windows registry repair.it still didnt finish,is this normal??it was damn long....

Antivirus - NOD32 + firewall + router
AntiSpyware - Ad-Aware SE Personal, AVG Anti-Spyware, Spybot Search n Destroy and windows defender
Others - ccleaner, HijackThis, Windows Registry Repair

my very last questions are .....
-is the NOD32's firewall automatically on because i cant find it??plus the windows firewall should be turned off right??
-how to use Hijack this and all the registry related apps??so far i've been using it like scan and then fixed without caring nothing.is this gonna mess my system badly??

I've used several and had to help friends solve problems with a few, so here's my feedback.
Norton is the worst by far. Uses too much resource and can often block computer functions till "fixed."
AVG free is quite good but the new AVG 8, (paid version) has problems.It's bigger and much more complicated.
Customer support is good but slow to reply and no chat possible.
I am currently testing NOD32 and Bit Defender AV, and Trend Micro.
The problems with most are with the firewall. If you have/use a home or office network, watch out. AVG failed to set up easily with a network. There own staff had trouble sorting it out. Never did.
I prefer that AV programs do just that and not include a firewall. I have one on my modem/router and in Windows. They have yet to fail me.

yeah i agree,my internet gone very mad slow when i use AV + firewall..right now i'm using NOD32 Antivirus Business Edition,but the license is almost dead so i'm considering a new AV or contiune with a new license.

 

soz if this is da wrong thread but i keep gettin system alert n sppyware threats coming up but my virus remover cant find anything how can i remove all this from my pc someone please help me thanks if u can

i use mcafee scan for viruses program its not good man because am still gettin alerts and that coming up can u please help me thanks if u can mate
