The Box Pvr Problem

You are on the wrong thread here tony mate, but when you say The Box, do you mean The Box Super is that what it say's on the top left front.

apologies Malci... I just saw the 6.01 fix ..thats the one for the super in Dublin and I pressumed it was a super box OOPs!!!

Yep, tony was trying to flash that on it at first, but he now knows it is for The Box Super only : as you say I think he will have realised that when he downloaded it, to be honest. Let us know how you go tony there is a little release note with it too.

 

haha thanks for puttin me on the right tracks again.
im stuck now though with the STB Model
i dont know what to type into the box
and also i cant seem to find the BIN File

 

You must not attempt to type anything into there, and you should have downloaded the rar file to you desktop and extracted them both with Winrar.

Well be doing mate, because I will have to leave shortly. Where are you up to, and have you attempted to type anything at all into the GTRom Loader?

 

ive extracted the files to my desktop and still no luck guys
i cant figure out where im goin wrong

Double click on the RED arrow which is pointing downwards, then click on the BIN File tab and in the box that pops up go to your desktop and double click on thebox_h20081204_455eE_api.bin and it will appear in the box, make sure that App File Only box is checked and Press Download.

 

ive done this a few times, even before you just ran through it for me
still not workin though :/

i changed my com port from 1 to 2 and that did the job
