the above picture is my standard set-up before i start bringing the starview box into the equation.
What i was attempting to show was i have been taking the blue coloured cable out (labbled RF-IN) of the back of the ch*rus box and have been putting it into the starview.

Ok, i've now established that the cable with yellow tip (RF-OUT) on back of the ch*rus box is the cable giving me a 2nd connection point upstairs. Disconnecting this cable kills the picture on the 2nd tv.

    Anybody got any other ideas?

I love the photo, but you would think you would do a bit of dusting before taking them LOL

can i ask why theres a wire coming out of the back of your cable box, this is were you should put your coax in, if you need to do splitting then you should do it from ththis coax as there is a booster of sorts in the box,
you have me completley lost on this, what terrestrial channels do you get on your current service?

Is the white b0x on the wall your main feed? If so, you should have the coaxial cable running from this to the st@rview b0x,

I think you misunderstood the purpose of the picture - this is the ch*rus setup before i introduce the st@rview b0x. I won't need to split them after i get (hopefully) get this all sorted.
Right now i get approx 60 channels; The usual BBC 1-4, Utv, C4, RTE etc, MTV, E, etc but no Sly sports or movies. These are available as extras, hence the st@rview b0x.

The white box is for a normal terrestrial TV ariel. But being in the area i'm in i can't pick up anything off it. Right now its only purpose is that its being used to provide a cable / sign to the 2nd connection point upstairs (multi-room or what ever its called). I was able to check this in the post earlier - removing this cable kills the signal upstairs but the main TV still works fine (on normal Chorus).
My main feed is from the bigger black (booster?) box. I take the cable coming out of this box towards the ch*rus box and then put it in the st@rview b0x instead. ....but i can't pick up any programs

If you`re running the cable from the ch***s digital b0x it wont work.
Have you tried running the coaxial from the white b0x on the wall??
If the main TV still works downstairs then this is the feed you should be using.

see the picture of the silver box by KJL well thats the exact the same as the back of my box, I wrote down on a piece of paper everything about my box but it was way to long to put on here, so I left explaining it, but now that iv seen the back of that box I know that its the very same as mine no different., only mine is called Digivox.
I dont understand any of them attachments on the back of it, do I need them to get my stations back at the moment iv no codes., I also have a major problem with a box called The Box I started a new thread about it is there any way of you finding it and helping me try sort out the problem, if you cant find it il write it again on this, but its quiet a long letter.

please please Help me. Thanks joanne

    i've got the chorus mmds.

there is a output connection on the chorus sagem box.

i've connected a second cable to this to another tv.

however, there seems to be some interference when i tune in the second tv.
it is supposed to pick up the analogue signals on this.

however, i only get tv3(sigh), mtv and bbc2.all the rest have interference when i go to tune in.

any ideas on how to fix this?

p.s.i'm a computer engineer and i'm actually stuck which sucks.i at least should know the answer to this one but don't.

    up man utd!

Yeah i figured that out now, but thanks. The reason i bought the super is that my mate who lives approx 500m away from uses the super. Turns out he is on Ch*rus cable, im on MMDS.

I returned the box to original seller and am in the process of getting the correct one shipped.
