    Hi

I have been trying to flash the new file, but getting error. I have original box. I open the file and click on download but then get the error message flash update failed. I am using the following cable, please let me know if this can be used:
    http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=97737&DOY=1m11]

I did a factory reset, then put the box on standby and then tried flashing, but got the error message. Will appreciate help.

    Some one please help!!

it's a ufl, which means unified firmware loader so download to your desktop, connect your box up to your pc and press download on the loader, and fingers crossed you'll be ok.

you will need to update your box with the latet firmware, which can be found in the stickie at the top of the forum page, all the help and guidance you will need is in the starview link under my pic, also a word of warning you will need to remove that link to the other website as codes and links to codes are not allowed on the forum,if the mods see it you may get a ban.
