Right, I'm freaked out!!!! All is good now. I gave it one more go with the factory reset, but the only thing I did differenty this time, was I didn't turn the box off at the back. After the reset it brought me to the Select Language and I just went from there. Cheers sc0user
Hello, just wondered if anyone could help,i have a super box 3 and am experiencing problems like everyone else,but as of today on premium channels i am getting the message "bad/scrambled channel" instead of the "updating data" message( which i managed to clear this morning).any ideas???
I have tried inputting it all manually, correct provider (in fact i tried all when en te el didnt work), turned emu off, i have the super. Still nothing. Any ideas what the problem could be?
Another thing when i checked this morning i had the message "updating data" again,so i tried updating manually, and now i've gone back to "bad/scrammbled channel" ????
If you have the correct information, are you doing it correctly, you might find a little how to in the Help link, it may assist you.
What box is it you have is it a Starview 3 the Box Super, because that is the thread you are in, if so then you can upgrade your firmware with the fix, out today, make sure you get the correct one with todays date on it - it as been moddified.

Get the fix out of Eamo's Library at the bottom of my post, click on the box super and then you will see it the 2nd folder down The Box Super Fix with todays date alongside.
It is annoying but only because i have zero interest in tv boxes other than Freeview, i'm a dvd movie man myself edit- but yes, i aim to make most of my posts humourous, even when i'm kicking people up the backside (some people just don't get my dry humour). When i am serious people certainly know about it though.
Bluray - pah 30+GB of movie data, no thanks. I detest the padding i mean special features on dvd's never mind attacking ridiculous amounts of gigabytes of movie data. I won't mind watching HD tv channels when Freeview boxes get to provide them but you can keep your Bluray thanks
hi all any ideas why my box super wont unscramble certain channels e.g sports but free channels are working !! i have downloaded the new firmware, scanned, emu is on but just saying " scrambled or bad channel " any advice welcome cheers
What area are u in.. if its UK u need new firmware.. if its Ireland, u will have to manually enter the keys, cos for the past 3 weeks or so no key are been sent down , so no auto updating!!!
