Are you using vista?if so see if you can find someone with a pc with a serial port running xp and it should work first time for you.

 

HI Karljd, I just installed a new serial port this morning to do this and when I go into the properties on the serial drive it says its working fine so i tried to flash it again and i unpluged the rs232 lead into the box before I hit the download button and Im getting the same message, i think it looks like the serial port is not working

Hi yeah i got it working perfectly with your help but there is one slight problem some of the channels have not worked in the position i installed them in but i got them working as extra channels.

 

Skyguy... its a null modem cable you need not the rs232...
