i have the box, ntl, ap1 ver:4.00e_E i got it about 5 months ago, it stoped working a few months ago. kept getting new code, but then totally stopped working. today i got most up to date code and it stiil wouldnt work i then did a factory setting restore, now nothing is coming up and when i try to do manual or aoto scan of channels. it cant get any channels. can anyone please help me, im not great with this kind of stuff atall. any help is greatly appreciated ...
You will need to update your b0x with the latest firmw@re , but for now to get you back up and running follow these steps Press Menu > Factory Setting PIN 0000 OK to delete Turn box off at the back for a minute and turn back on Make sure your N*L cable is in the "Cable Input" socket at the back of the Starvi*w English > Installation Choose Provider etc Automatic Scan Press OK Channels found Exit Press Menu then 1570 Turn EMU key ON Exit , exit , exit Press Menu then 1570 and press the "Set Default Key" , press OK , then go into Nagravision and input the codes , press OK to save each key data and tune into S*Y Sports and it should update for you Starvi*w Codes : http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/652196
thankyou, but when i do auto-scan no chanels come up 0 programs found???? would the box be broken all together?????
You will need version 4.50 firmw@re for THE B0X IRELAND found in "THE B0X" firmware folder. You will need version 4.51 firmware for THE B0X UK found in "THE B0X" firmware folder. After updating , then do a factory setting
