bizrate has listed many things that never come out, like they listed Metroid 64 for about a week after metroid prime came out. Many people know that metroid prime was originally slated to be metroid 64.

Rockstar Games, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive, announced today a new title called Bully . As the title implies, Bully casts players in the role of a schoolboy having to deal with all those wonderful parts of education: vengeful teachers, mean-spirited peers, female rejection, and, of course, bullies. This apparently humorous take on pubescent tribulations will be handled by Rockstar Vancouver.

"We are really excited about the first title to be developed by our Rockstar Vancouver studio," said Sam Houser, President of Rockstar Games. "We fought hard to keep this title under wraps for ages and I am thrilled that we can finally unveil it to people at E3."

Bully should release October 2006 for PS2 and xbox, and will be on display behind closed doors at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) May 18-20, 2006.

You can post old articles from websites we've never heard of all day if you like. The fact of the matter is that Rockstar themselves make Bully. And Rockstar themselves have said there is no xbox version.

    Odds are, they would know.

Will there be an xbox version in the future? It's possible, but doubtful in light of two facts:
-M$ has officially 'killed' the original xbox
-Rockstar would actually have to mess around with touching up the game quite a bit to justify a 360 release, not to mention newer systems tend to reap less profitability, so it's probably not worth their while at this time. Maybe we'll see Bully 2.... Who knows.

Do you remember san andreas??? We belive that will never come out on xbox but it came out later.

Maybe its the same now with bully.

Actully many games come out first on ps2 and then come out on xbox and pc.

You're one crazy mixed up kid, you know that? (J/K, don't take it personally, I just talk like that.) You've got your titles criss-crossed every which way, and even by re-sorting them, it's still an ill-informed speculation you've made.

Nobody thought San Andreas was never coming to the XBox. That would be completely stupid, considering that Rockstar advertised the release date well in advance. They never stopped mentioning it, or removed it from their website. It was relatively well known.

Now, going on to what would be a closer-to-the-truth statement, you might have had a stronger argument by mentioning GTA3 or Vice City. Those were different, Sony publicly signed a contract with Rockstar, making them the only video game console to have the games; it was one of the first big exclusivity contracts that really made waves in the industry, some people even thought that Sony was going to buy Rockstar. Eventually, it did (naturally) run out, and then Rockstart immediately released the double pack for both ps2 and xbox simultaneously. The ps2 version didn't sell very well, naturally because the games had been out for some time on that console.

Since GTA3 and Vice City, Rockstar has not signed long term exclusivity contracts, as they feel it hurt their business considerably with these hit titles. They have agreed to release titles for certain consoles before others, but no new contracts to make a game long-term exclusive, or anything like that.

Rockstar has no contract for limited or long term exclusivity on Bully; but quite frankly, due to reasons that have already been repeated by myself and other posters here as well, it is very likely that an XBox version just won't happen. The original XBox is officially dead(Says manufacturer Microsoft), Rockstar has never released a game on a system in that status, and probably never will. It is even less likely that we will see a 360 port, because it would require a HUGE graphics jump in order for people to accept it as a new title on the 360. The number of gamers who have adapted to the 360 is still fairly limited, because many people don't switch until about another year into the new generation from where we currently are. Right now, the M$ gamers are a very divided bunch, some for financial cost reasons, others just haven't opted to upgrade yet. If Rockstar released for the original, counting on backwards compatibility, they stand to alienate a lot of 360 users from the title. Because honestly, when you buy a new system, you're generally not interested in the selection of games on it's previous iteration. That's not to say there aren't gamers smart enough to enjoy a great game, even with an older generation graphics engine; but we're far and few compared to average gamers.

Like I said; at this point a port to the xbox is unlikely, because Rockstar has never released on a 'dead' system. And a 360 port is even less likely because of the graphical overhaul that would be expected by consumers on the 360. And unless they released on both systems(Even less likely, more work for a relatively low profit yield) they would alienate about half of the MS gamers with their choice of old or new generation.
