Hi All. RYU.... great job Odin also First.... sorry for my english. Best regards from Poland. OK. I have a BIG problem. Have a BD film called The Patriot with Gibson. I ripped it on hdd via AnyDVDHD. Main film is in 2 *.m2ts files 28.2 and 14.6 GB I load this 2 files to TsMuxer to apend them, then i have one big *.m2ts file. Next i demux via TsMuxer the audio and PGS streams. I have 5 audio and multi PGS streams. Next I load this big *.m2ts file to MeGui to encode.... and here is the problem. When the process start after made a avs script in the small progress window i see in line where is: total lenght of clip a strange lenght. My film have 2:55:07 lenght but here is 3:22:xx or 4:xx:xx. I don't now why. It's not a progress time because it is on the lowest line. Anywhere... when the process finished and i try to watch the results.... The first part is ok, thats mean about 1:55:xx but next... I watch again video from the part that i watched seconds ago. Audio is ok but video... I uploaded a sample with another short clip. You con see how it's look's like. http://www.mediafire.com/?svu1mybj5hm there is a log from MeGUI http://www.mediafire.com/?g8xzdvj0ztv and avs script http://www.mediafire.com/?ine6m3wjnmb Please help me to solve this problem
To fixed this....On the Input page in Megui click on Config. Then click on Logfile then save your output to where you want it to go then click save at the bottom then your finish. (1)You got to go to tools then Avisynth Script Creator (2)Then click onto Video Input load your M2ts file there wait til it load. (3)Then on that same page make sure you add your Aspect Ratio in the video DAR box click save. (4)Then tools Bitrate calculator set your video out put size don't forget to add 570MB for header if your making a AVCHD.Click save then back to Input click Enqueue. Then hit Queue Start encoding.
@ robson241, I suggest you actually view the two m2ts files before you append them, that way you can verify which parts a correct.
Quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5) everytime i try to load megui, it says "failed to load profile, delte?", i say no, but it still deletes the profile and the whole "Profiles" folder.. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To fixed this....On the Input page in Megui click on Config. Then click on Logfile then save your output to where you want it to go then click save at the bottom then your finish. Quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also, how do i load the M2ts file in megui?, i guess it has something to do with avisynth, ive never used this program before, and it looks confusing....please help me, im so close i feel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (1)You got to go to tools then Avisynth Script Creator (2)Then click onto Video Input load your M2ts file there wait til it load. Still having issues with this... When in MEGUI, i hit config (from video encoding settings), the logfile is greyed out, and i can't select a path (it says .stats within it).... Everytime i place a Profiles folder within MEgui root, and then another folder named Video inside it, and drop the ryu77 profile in there....i open up megui and it says cannot load job or something. delete?, i say no yet when i go to the directory the whole "profiles" folder is removed (im using the latest version with all plugins updated... Now onto Avisynth, when i goto script creator, try opening the .m2ts file, its unsupported and not recognised, it says something about the filters may not being installed?, i have never used avisynth in my life.... thanks to all in reply
@nsta, I think you should start from scratch. First uninstall MeGUI and AviSynth. Now on to what you need. You need to install; Haali Media Splitter FFDshow CCCP (Combined Community Codec Pack) This version of MeGUI, it has all of the neccesary filters, plugins, and encoders. We'll upgrade later. http://www.mediafire.com/?xcnhcb1j14f and The latest stable version of AviSynth Once everything is set up you can upgrade to this version of MeGUI. http://downloads.sourceforge.net/megui/megui-0_3_0_1017.exe?modtime=1216809582&big_mirror=0 When you install this version it will prompt you to import a lot of profiles, do all of them. Once done you should have the latest version of MeGUI and should be all set up to encode to x264.
Thanks again ODIN, profile now recognised, and program has been updated no issues.... Now, how do i load the .m2ts movie into MEGUI???is there a avs script i need??? Im nearly there now cheers
Tried loading the video file and i get an error: AviSynth Script Error: DirectShowSource: Renderfile, The filter graph manager won't talk to me If it helps, theres no AVS profile setup in that window aswell What have i done wrong?, this is a .m2ts created from the bd rip (it contains vc-1 video, and ac3 audio, nothing else)
I get another error when trying to load the file this time: Direct Show Error: Unable to render the file you probably don't have the correct filters installed ???? Anyone able to help
Did you install everything I suggested?, Haali and FFDshow? Also, verify the program path in the Options/Settings/Program Paths menu, you only looking to set up the x264 encoder for now.
Still getting the same errors, yes i installed everything just as you advised, profile setup is all ok, and is pointing to the correct h264 file....
Hey Odin, is there a simple AVS script i can create and save as .avs which will let me open my .mkv/m2ts/.264 file videos?....as the script editor doesn't work for me.... Thats all thats left to do so i can start doing some recodes.... Also, if i wanted to make a re-encode with the same file size and quality how do i go about it, do i just just the same bitrate or something???
I have been using Megui to encode AVCHD's from MKV files and most turn out great, thanks for Ryu's profile and help from Odin and Ryu. Now I have a new VC1 WMV files that I would like to encode for AVCHD playback on PS3 too. Does anyone have any suggestions? Megui seems okay with the WMV source, although I haven't run it all the way thru yet. What about Audio? What's the best tool to extract audio from WMV files that will be usable by tsMuxer to create the final AVCHD files? Thanks in advance.
Is it like Video conferencing software?? okay then our company http://www.i'manidiot.com provide the services of these types of instant movies and Spam. edited by ddp
Hi all, Just recently bought a Blu-ray writer and some BD-R's for my PC. I have a few hi-def .mkv movies on my computer and was wanting to convert and burn them to the standard Blu-ray movie format (mt2s I think???) so it will blay in any standard Blu-ray player. I know it can go on a DVD-9, but I want to test out my writer. I had a browse through this thread and downloaded tsMuxeR and converted Sin City.mkv to Blu-ray disk output. This created 2 folders - BDMV and CERTIFICATE. What is the correct method and program to burn these so they will play in a Blu-ray player?? Also the total size after conversion was only 8.29 Gb, so does this mean that there's a way to fit a few movies on a single disc. What software would I use to do this, and is there a program that will let me add a menu to my disc also?? I appreciate any help as I'm new to this. Cheers
Use whatever burning program of your choice, just as long as it supports BD, and you burn to UDF 2.5. Just burn the BDMV and Certificate folders. The only way you could apply several movies to one disc is if the A/V streams are of the same codec, you cannot mix one movie that is h264 with another that is VC1... same goes for audio with AC3 and DTS. Just use tsMuxeR, append each mkv to each other then mux to Blu-Ray. The output would appear to be one large movie, except they will play back to back.
Okay, I loaded up Nero burning ROM for Blu-ray disc (UDF), and under the UDF settings, do I just leave as automatic or select UDF 2.50 myself? If it's manually do I set the UDF partition type to Physical partition or virtual partition? Think I'll leave putting multiple movies on a disc until a program comes out that allows menus and stuff to be created. Cheers for the help, much appreciated.
Sorry to repeat the question - so I guess there is no way to do this? Ryu or Odin, have either of you done this before? Please help.
