Yes, I agree. BUT THE THING ABOUT THAT IS: When Dattebayo starts to convert the anime version which is in HD Quality from .MKV file and merge with subtitle into one video that contains subtitle within. You know what I mean? I mean originally this video was in .MKV file, but they added subtitle and .mkv file into one... that is why I am confused because when I complete the torrenting the episode, it came out as "VIDEO CLIP" rather than .mkv file/subtitle file. Get what I am trying to say? So, that is why I used tsv (spelling?) software to convert, but the problem with this result was: the original MB was not shown as the converted- it only shows 5M or 9MB rather than original one (700MB). Now, that is why I wanted to ask around to find a way to see if I can get around to that converting Video Clip into the format that PS3 unit can play, you know? Because the file/format originally was from .mkv file/sub. file rather than VIDEO CLIP ITSELF. So.. I hope that what I am trying to explain actually make sense, you know?
Yeah, I watch Naruto too. I know it's in HD now but even though it was MKV it is now AVI since that's what Dattebayo uses. I would still recommend ConvertXtoDVD unless you have an MKV Naruto episode.
Question: Anyone Why do torrent release groups release BD(x264)rips thats not the full resolution? Ex..They just released IronMan but its 1280x528.Why not release it 1280x720 full 720p?
They did? Cool! I wish they would stop doing non standard resolutions too. They should either do 1920x1080p or 1280x720p. As to why they do that....I don't know.
The groups that do these encodes have playback on the PC in mind, not a BD player. The cropped borders are taken away so the encoder can "concentrate" fully on the picture, rather than the black borders and the picture. There is a group/person that does standard HD resolutions, I cannot remember their name though. EDIT: Don't forget, the PS3 can play non-standard HD resolutions in m2ts format, it will add the borders automatically. It's only when you want BD/AVCHD format you need the standard HD resolutions.
Okay i tried inserting the M2ts file that was ripped with anydvd HD bypassing TsMuxeR.I just finish 12 hours of encoding & still getting video output pixel all to hell.I don't understand whats going on help me please.
Hmmm, when you put the MKV file in tsMuxer what do you get? Can you at least see both the video and audio track?
Have never ripped a BD before so I can't help you there. All I can tell you is that you need the video track, the audio track and if you want you can add the subtitles and then using tsMuxer create a Blu-ray disc or AVCHD. If you are having problems with ripping the BD you should ask Ryu77 or odin24 about it....they have experience in this. Good luck!
It depends on a couple of things... like; 1. Why not 1080p 2. Media size (DVD5 or DVD9, or BD25) The file you need is generally the largest m2ts file found in the BDMV/Stream folder, sometimes the main movie is a combination of smaller files, tsMuxeR can help with the by opening the proper MPLS file in the BDMV/Playlist folder... but sometimes it's a guessing game. Or there is an easier way using eac3to (command line) and it will tell you exactly which m2ts files make up the main movie. I believe there is some "how-to's" throughout this thread.
I found a tool that read mpls files but i haven't had time to use it do you know anything about this tool? http://www.cinemasquid.com/Tools.aspx Do you know where i can find a guide to using this way? I don't know anything about using command line without a GUI.Thxs
I've never tried BDinfo, it looks like it'll do the trick though. I'm going to stick with eac3to though. To use eac3to you need to do the following. First you need to tell your PC where eac3to is, I'll use my config as an example. Code: c:\users\chris\documents\programs\eac3to Then immediately after that line (separated by one space) you need to tell it where to look for the BD file. Code: c:\users\chris\videos\Blu-ray movie folder Everything will look like this Code: c:\users\chris\documents\eac3to c:\users\chris\videos\Blu-ray movie folder Of course the "Blu-ray movie folder" will have only the untouched BDMV and Certificate folders in it. Also, command line is much easier if everything is closer to the root of you hard drive, in my case I have several sub directories which makes it kinda a pain, but I'm will to deal with it... cause I like eac3to.
Odin24: For some reason my BD AVCHD encodes from Megui are still pixel to death.I don't understand i just did Speed Racer with no issue but i just did Kill Bill my encode is pixel again.Thxs
I think it might be codec related. Speed racer is VC-1 and The Kill Bill's are MPEG4/AVC h264. What codec pack do you have installed? I suggest CCCP.
Okay i have now uninstalled K-Lite & now running CCCP i will be back soon to let you know what happen.Thxs
