Hey there. ive had my Phillips 42PF7220A/37B plasma model for 3 months now and i love it. the only problem i have it that sometimes my dark colors look too dark. the brights look amazing but the darks come across as not light enough and sometimes a little grainy. anyone have any ideas on how i can fix this problem?

any help at all would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

You can't really dix this problem because it is just one of the issues with plasmas. However blacks and dark grays will look alot better from a HD source than with a SD source. The grayish blacks are a problem with most all fixed pixil displays including plasmas, LCDs, LCoS, and DLP, although DLP still suffers from this problem it is not as bad as the others. The only type of TV that can produce the best blacks are CRTs.
