so there's no way to remove layer break or there is a way
in other words "you gotta set the layer break" for the DL blank media, correct? <-- my theory

Your question has already been answered regarding your 1st post. Read 7 up (dvd9 to dvd5) using anydvd and clonedvd2

If you are using a DL disc you will always have a layerbreak as it is built into the blank disc.

I do not agreee about dvd-9 permanent layer breaks. Usualy using clonedvd I store the files in my hard disc. When I recompile the project (in case of some changes) the layer break it is not on the same places as in the original compilation. I found this using the ancient ifoedit. On the other hand I agree in case of iso images.

This looks like it can go on forever. The layer break on the original pressed dvd may possibly be removed by software. Where it would normally show up in the movie may change location depending on what extras are removed during the edit process.

The layer break built into the blank media will not be removed and should be very close to the middle of the disc, in this case middle being the center of the amount of data it can hold. As an example if a DL blank holds 8.5 gig and you burn a 6 gig movie the break is at 4.25 gig or about 2/3 of the way into the movie, not in the middle of the movie. All figures are just estimates so lets not nit pick over sizes.
