the future of cpu & gpu cooling

    so what do you think well see in the future for cooling down our computer systems? Freon, liquid helium, liquid co2 or even liquid nitrogen? I know theres alot of creative people out there on this issue so share some ideas..

    I think that liquid cooling (whatever the liquid may be) will stay an after-market niche for quite some time. Fan cooling is one of the easiest ways for Dell, HP etc... to keep build prices low.

    Just my Canadian 2 cents.

    people have used nitrogen cooling 4 a while now insane temps -60c and stuff

    i have wondered if dry ice would work myself.. they have co2 induction kits for cars nowadays for intercoolers that run NOS. they used to just spray nos on the intakes before drag races but now it hass switched to bottled co2 because its cooler, but nos is still used in engines because of course co2 would put out the cars life blood- gasoline explosions- in a heart beat, literally
