We here in Canada had the Halloween movie also, god it's so cheesy but good, they also played Halloween 5-Revenge Of Michael Myers and Hellraiser (gotta love Clive Barker).

And as for kids I had about a hundred plus come by the house, poor dog is hoarse from barking so much. LOL

I've got all the Friday the 13th, Hellraiser and Nightmare on Elm street movies, You gotta love 80's horror films. Slash, hack and dismember.

I haven't seen the remake of Halloween either, But I doubt it could hold a candle to the orginal, Remakes almost never do.

You mean to say you took the kids halloween candy and chips. Now that's mean. LOL I buy candy every year and no kids show up. I live about a quarter mile down a lonely lane and so far no kids have shown up at my door. LOL I'll end up eating some of it and giving the rest to children in the family.

I've not been bitching or crying and don't intend to. That old "somebody done somebody wrong song" keeps spinning like a broken record, whether in the SV or in other places. Like gerry1 said, it's not good for public viewing. Every moderator I've heard says the same, there's no place for the constant bickering about forum politics. It's divisive and will accomplish nothing other than getting members banned, as recently happened. A couple of the banned have been kind enough to return, although with different names. All that's happened leaves me with just one question. What is the Safety Valve for?

Apparently that description needs some adjustment.

I'm not trying to stir anything or make anyone angry. All I'd like to hear is someone from the staff tell us what the SV is for and have it stated in the title description. I already know it's not for arguing with the staff.

I'm gonna be straight here.. most of this crap is down to a lot of shaking. some of it by me. People were complaining about the shitty state this site was in so instead of complaining a few of us took more direct action. It resulted in a much more proactive zero tolerance policy.. which is good for a tech forums site.
Lets be honest here.. there was far too much bickering and garbage going on.. at last we managed to get attention and the changes that were needed.. (if you don't believe me ask dela about our night of serious irc debate on the subject)

Now some people may think things have become unfair and biased. I can report that is not the truth. It was important to get something done, and there will be casualties in any stir it up and see what falls out action.

About ireland.. he's probably just off on one of his "holidays". we know about them and understand how it goes don't we?? Been there.. seen it and got the t-shirt. He will be back when it suits him.. no worries.

in parting (going to watch Polly Harvey live at some huge thing in the states wot I just pirated off t'internet) peace to all.. no more warring.. It's coming to the end of a crappy year. Lets all just try to get along and remember the REAL mission of this site.... to allow fair use of something you have paid for.. no more, no less.

All we know about said subject is he has a mother... which implies a biological background.. whether that is carbon or silicon based is open to conjecture.
