hope you guys and gals are doing well. off to lurk some more.

Hi there greenman, you remember back some on this thread we talked about perogies, I havent made any before on my own, after visiting my Uncle in the UK he tought me, so this was my first shot, they came out so good I made a hundred, my kids were home from school my wife's family was also over, so they dissaperaed fast, I got to eat only two, it was hard on the back, it took almost 8 hrs to make.

Now that I learned how to post a pic here it goes, I never sent two at a time before hope it works.

Than the potatoes and cheese, the boiling gets started and you start putting them together, making sure they don't fall apart is the tricky part.

After boiling them in water for a couple of minutes they float to the top, you can eat right after that way, but I prefer them sauteed, fry them up till golden brown, you chop and fry several batches of onions in butter, and of course dont forget the sour cream.

The gang prepared the table, they were disappearing while I was still making them, thats how I wound up with only two, my family, thanks guys. After all that hard work and getting hardly any was no problem, it was so great to watch everybody enjoy them.

This is where I learned, at my Uncle's house Peterborough, UK. I never gave it shot when I got home, than the greenman starts talking about perogies and got my mouth watering, so I gave it a try and it worked out.
