    If you didn't know the magnification, the dish would resemble a badly prepared dish of crawfish bisque without rice or it's gravy. LOL

    @luvy

    You would wish that it were crawfish bisque if you'd ever been served it. Takes two days to make! LOL

    I know that forum rules prohibit "invite beegging", but just this once , please make an exception for me.

    I'm begging for an invite to one of the GM's famous bbq gatherings. Can any of you help poor mongo and me out ???

    TIA

    Mongo and endo : )

    Looks to me like only you are eating these days...

    Today I had.. 1 mince pie and 2 slices of rye bread with a black bean burger. Total 780 calories.

    I've been trying to talk the family into a prime rib roast or something similar. I like Turkey and will eat it when given the chance but something different is always nice. :D

    I've gone on a diet too varnull. I started 2 weeks ago and I've lost 40lbs already. :)

    Good for you, any particular reason you decided to do it? :)

    Edit: That's an awful lot of weight to lose in two weeks though, should you be taking it a bit slower?

    Congrats GM.. but that is a bit fast. It should be fine though.. It depends where you are starting from.. I have aimed at 0.5% of total mass a day, which gets me to "my" ideal by xmas. Of course I'm starting from somewhere a lot of people would consider pretty skinny to start with, but hey.. My body, My choice. I have lost 22 over the last 3 weeks. A pound a day, and saved a fortune on cakes and bread :)

    I bet you feel better already for not carrying those 40 pounds around every day. Put that in a bag and hump it around with you everywhere all day and you will see the difference it makes when you put it down.

    Holy Shite!!! NOT 40 but 4.... lol. Sorry it was a typo. :D I have NO will power and my family has the fast metabolism you hear about. :p Soo the moral of the story is that it's very difficult to loose weight in my house. :( PLUS the fact that endo keeps posting sensual pix of food on this thread. :D

    Four pounds is good! That's the proper way to do it, a couple of pounds a week! Two pounds a week would be 100 pounds in a year, keep going at that rate and maybe a little exercise and you'd be where you want by next christmas! ;)

    Was getting a bit worried when you said you lost 40 pounds! lol! ;)

    Yeh a little exercise is good!! I lost some weight a few years ago and got down to 258 (18 stone 6lbs) and felt pretty good but gained it all back plus some, I'm actually embarrassed at what I weigh now. :(

    Well now that I'm "depressed" I think that I'll eat something. hehehehe. :p
