    @garmoon

Yep, I'm on the hurricanne team at work, and I will be at the refinery. If it comes this way, that's where I will be holding down the fort. A few of us have to stay back to keep things running. If it hits me, don't blame me if gas prices go up again!!

You guys are making me so hungry with this thread! LOL!

It's only half nine in the morning, dinner isn't for another ten hours!

    So for dinner today:

    Steak - medium rare
on a bed of ciabatta bread with garlic butter (real butter, crushed fresh garlic)
with the blood soaking into the bread
fried onions (lots of!) and mushrooms
    chips

and green pepper sauce on the side! :)

and a bottle of pinot grigot to wash it down :)

    No dessert
or maybe just a strawberry yoghurt

And then i might try iluvendo's frozen strawberry margeritas. Thursday counts as the weekend - right? lol!

    Very nice Eva.

Oh and GM...Mr. Endo and I will be dropping by to ensure you have no leftovers!

This is my late night, so i made a hearty breakfast.

Two eggs over easy, over a bed of hash browns, with sausage gravy poured over and a sprinkle of cheese on top. With a big tall glass of cranberry juice, and of course my staple: strong, black coffee.

Now i'm full and need a nap. :)

7th nice breakfast!! :) Just had a breakfast burrito here.... chorizo, egg, and bean..... :)

This is for RedRob or anyone else interested!! :)

Bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast burrito:

2-3 slices of your favorite bacon
    2 eggs (beaten)
grated cheese (Mexican blend is best...duh)
regular sized flour tortilla (homestyle or burrito size works)

cut your bacan into small strips (1/2 inch or so)
cook in pan until almost done drain most of the "grease" (save if you do that sort of thing) and then add eggs. Scramble until done to your liking, just short of dry for me... but NOT runny.. lol

heat your tortilla (over open flame if you have a gas stove, on medium heat and make sure to watch for "burning" it will only need about 15 seconds per side) if you have an electric stove - go get a gas one... J/K.... you can use a pan but be careful the tortilla will try to stick. ;) If you really wanna be lazy and NOT authentic then use the Nuker!!! :p

Ok once you have your tortilla ready, drizzle your cheese on there, add your bacon and egg mixture and hot salsa if you like, ROLL and eat!!! It's dang tasty and one of my favorite breakfast items.

If you live in Texas or where they make such delicacies then you know what I'm going on about. If not then wake up and smell the tortilla... heheehe. :p

Of course you can ADD whatever you think will be good and of course you don't have to use eggs. You can do a bacon, potato, and bean or whatever... the sky's the limit!!!! :D

Well, I had a boring breakfast tacos made up of cut potatoes, shredded cheese, and bacon.

Gonna have cheese enchiladas with rice, beans, & a tortilla on the side for lunch.

They really don't feed us well here at work!!
