Well I'm a sophmore rite now. For me, since i graduated from middle to freshman my grades dropped slightly to a 3.5. Girls are easier to get, and easier to piss off. Some girls are really hot but airheads. PMS season is scary. Gay people scare me. Ugly lesbians disgust me. Teachers don't like a** sniffers, don't care if u do ur hw or not. Some are cool, some are evil old people. Rumors spread like wildfire. Even more wanna be gansta's. Everyone's in a clique. Still pokemon and yugioh nerds. Lots of emoish and skatboarders. Well that's it so far. Oh yea, you know those nerds in cartoons with inhalers, runny nose, acne, glasses and all those qualities? Yea they're real.
Oh yea upper classmen are nice but don't piss them off as some seniors are super buff like this one senior who benches 400lbs.
LOL, pokemon and Yuigooh or however u spell it, lol, seems pretty stupid to you guys probally, but what's a sophmore? i've never heard of that expression here in canada
oh ok sorry. it goes like this 9th grade: freshmen 10th grade: sophmore 11th grade: junior 12th grade: senior sophmore's just a label for 10th grader
hey kinza, your suppose to have 25 posts to get rid of newbee status rite? but i have way more than that, when will i get rid of that status? do you know
it just takes a while to update, i think around 2-3 weeks. the moderators have to get around to updating titles every now and then.
Well actually that was the old system where mods pick people who they think are helpful and promote them. But now since there are so many people here theres a system that auto promote depending on how many post you got. I think the number to get promoted changes every so often. Search around the forums, I remember theres one that talks about how many posts u need.
how many school do u guys have in the US? like 4 or 5 or some thing, kindergarden, elementry, junior high, seniour high??!!?? HOW MANY?!? and how many years do you have to stay in education by law and how long can you? in the UK we have 2 schools, primary and secondary, primary's for 7 years then secondary for a minimum of 4 years and maximum of 6 years. then you can go onto further education, like uni or college. anyways, i like the study leave for the "official" exams which start in 4th year ( of secondary ) ( thats what im in just mow ) and way we get time off to studdy for the exams ( off on it all last and this week ) and i don't like some subjects like math, chemistry, and french ( although i like the teacher, Mmmm..... ** wipping drool** ) and a graphics test i had to day, im such a spaz that i didn't study and forgot how to do isomertic curves and that my drawing board, pencil and compass were all f***ed up and crap. some1 please tell me how the system in the US works ( with all the schools ) !!thecraigc!!
Well I think it varies a bit state by state but here in Minnesota it goes K-5 = Elementary School, 6-8 = Middle School/Junior High, 9-12 = High School. Here you can drop out of highschool once you are 16 years old and can stay in school as long as you can keep failing =). After high school you have the option to go on to college or not.
Yea same here in Colorado. and if you drop out before your 16, the school board can sue your parents.
well, i'm not sure if you can dropout of school when your sixteen, i'll have to ask some of my older pals in the school, i have a girl in my class that's 19
i don't remember but there a max age for high school to. I think its 19 so if that girl doesn't pass this year she'll be kicked out or have to go to a private school.
high school is what you make it.i had trouble getting kicked out of advanced maths(the teacher knew i was smart and acting dumb).i use to get in trouble all the time for smoking.it wasnt i was stupid it was i had an attitude problem and a tough guy image that got my kicked out.
@david07 -> not nesicaraly true, i went through jk-6 in one school the 7-8 in another and am curently in "freshman year" or grade 9(as do all high schools in canada mine goes from 9-12) as for me ive not had any "experiences" yet considering im only like 1/2 way done grade 9.
