I can't copy this movie (UK full length). I have tried all file types with dvd decrytper, dvd shrink and anydvd. It wont go past 49%. With dvd shrink it wont even go past preview stage, again stopping at 49%. All newest versions of programs used. The movie is a new copy with no scratches. Any help/suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks

A disc can be "bad" even though it has no scratches.
Take it back for an exchange.

Thanks for the suggestions, I changed all the settings and ran it again. Same result stopped at 49% with 'unrecovered read errors' at various locations.
I hasten to add that i have so far copied over 220 dvd's with problems and managed to overcome them but I stumped with this one.

PS DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink RULE as both great and FREE.

Sounds like a bad original with corrupt data on it. Most players will just pass over the bad data but when ripping it the bad spot will always show.
