Just home from work and I scanned up to 420.000 When I scanned up to 403.000 I had 131 channels and no LFC TV or Celtic etc. But when I scanned up to 420.000 I ended up with only 128 channels and while I got LFC Tv & Celtic TV, I seemed to have lost Chelsea TV and obviously a couple of others which I dont what they are. Any ideas why this happened? My first symbol rate is 6.952 and my second symbol rate is 6.887 - could it be something to do with them? As I mentioned previously, I am in Dublin with N*L. Cheers
I seem to notice a difference with the time settings. It originally seemed to be an hour behind so I changed it on the settings (I am in dublin) But I notice that when you look at a channel and see whats on at that particular time on the channel, the time can be wrong or the programme might be different. It is definitely a time issue. Any solutions?

I have not had any dealings with the PVR - but I gather the firmware is similar format as to the EV 2008 black box, but I stand to be corrected. 1. Manual Scan on Individual Frequency :- The easiest way to get an individual channel back is to check the Frequency of the affected channel, by pressing Info button twice on the affected channel and noting the Frequency - then go to Menu - User Installation OK and enter 0000 - when the Frequency list appears, with arrow key scroll to the frequency number (example 507.000 Mhz) which will be highlighted, press OK and a Tick will appear in channel No:- to the left of Frequency number, now press blue button to Manual scan on that frequency, screen will go blank approx 90 seconds and an information box will appear stating what has been found wait until cleared then your channel should now be working correctly. 2. Auto-Sort On/Off :- Menu - Installation OK 0000 and press yellow button (Powerscan) and scroll down to bottom and turn Fav Sort to Off. Appoligies if I am incorrect, but worth a look/try.
Hello Thanks to everyone who has helped me so far. I am now looking to buy a hdd for the Eurovox max pvr. Have found this one Western Digital 120GB 2.5" Hard Drive IDE 8MB Cache 5400rpm - OEM at a site called e buyer seems reasonably priced. Will this work in the eurovox pvr and wil I be able to just plug it straight in and go Thanks for reading and any advice/help is greatly appreciated
I Have Just Bought A New EX5000 PVR Eurovox, ANd I Was Wondering If You Can Record Something Say On BBC, And Watch ITV At The Same Time. x
In a word NO, it has only got a single tuner, but you can possibly watch something whilst recording as long as it is on the same TP, by using the up and down arrow key's I beleive.
Sometimes when I turn on the TV - the programme details are not there for the particular programme. I then go into installation and press the red button and update channels and it works for a while but sometimes goes again. Any ideas?
