    Hi Guys,

Do either of you know what file type this box reocrds in ?

I've seen in a couple of places that you can 'Connect your Hard Drive To PC And Watch Or Copy Your Media'

    I hope it not proprietary.

Havent had a chance to have a look at recording on the PC yet but will have a look. I havent done any editing I need to do on the box itself.

Within channel manager there is a PVR manager section where you can watch, edit or delete recordings.

No way as good as Sly Plus, but you can record from the EPG menu and pause live TV. Dont get me wrong its a good box for the money.

EPG is similar to any EV EPG but your EPG stream is dependent on your area and provider. Its very easy to flash same as all EV UFLs.

Should be quite good in your area Telepest I presume. Although as said the EPG stream is dependent and you will only get the amount of days your provider carries.

hmm the pvr looks nice , someone said earlier larger drives then 120gb are not recommend cause of the extra heat, hmm so what do you think it would be worth it trying a 160hd and breaking it or sticking with 120gb. i mean on k**plett.ie there is only €8 in the different from a wd 120gb , to a samsung 160, but i would not want to break it .

one thing, how much do they cost ? i see one Irish site offering them for €165 plus €10 delivary, but english site are selling them for £109 which is €138.50 , or £169.00 with a 120gb hd which is €212.

hmm i am use to things costing more here , and i would rather get a box in Ireland, i mean if it was €140-150 fine , but €165 when there €138.50 in england, hmm maybe i am just being tight.
