I don't think you want to get onboard video...
    Get something like this:
    MSI NX8400GS-TD256E GeForce 8400GS $46.99:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127296
    or
    POWERCOLOR X1650PRO512MB Radeon X1650PRO $54.99- $39.99 after $15.00 Mail-In Rebate:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131068
    or
    EVGA 128-P2-N441-LX GeForce 7300GT $54.99- $34.99 after $20.00 Mail-In Rebate:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130026

That should get you by until you can get something better. I'm just trying to find something inexpensive that works well

The best thing you could do is to set up some LED lighting, or some Ultra violet cold cathodes, and put them on a switch. When you don't want them on, turn them off. It works wonders.

    fasfrank,

that is a pretty good looking case. I just don't like cases with drive bay doors. I end up taking off the door and that severely hurts the cosmetics. the gull wing front doors on my CM mystique has spoiled me. swing em open and their outa the way, never take anything off. close em when I shut down.

the first pc I built was in an antec case. they are good cases but heavy and not truely tooless. nothing for me anymore except all aluminum construction and true tooless design.

    XTRMN8TR,
Hehe you found the last ones available. Are you going to get them?

I believe as soon as they start arriving on the shelves..., and when a couple of other new arrivals appear, they will come down $30.00 or so.

I pre ordered a 2.2 Ghz Phenom so I'm in no hurry for mine.

    Hi Mort,
I like aluminum too. I don't care for tooless PCI card holders though. Maybe if I see one I like I'll change my mind though.

I just bought one of these about 5 minutes ago:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811163094

It's partially aluminum...(what is SECC?)It has no front doors and looks to be tooless as far as HDD and optical drives are concerned.

    Edit:
Well I found out it's not aluminum..
    SECC.... Steel, Electrogalvanized, ColdRolled, Coil

    frank,

SECC is metal (steel). CM has started making the mystique's with the front aluminun and body SECC too. you can however still buy them all aluminum but they cost more.

edit: you edited while I was typing :) your're definition is the real deal.

I think the Antec 900 is made like that as well if I'm not mistaken. It's very lightweight and is a sturdy material. Frank would dislike the 900 though, not only is it not tool-less, but it's also one of the most difficult cases to install hard drives in!

Mort81..I've had problems with the Verbs +'s & -'s also.Burning with Benq.My personal experience with Verbs has been bad.I've found a few DVD Players that refuse to recognize them. Therefore I've stuck with Tys & Ritek
Are they the only Disc that give U problems ? In your drive.

Do Not worry...They are the same...
    "PCI-E 2.0" is the new standard...the X16 stands for...sixteen lanes between M/B and Card on that particular slot...there are 32,16,8,4,2.& 1 lane...PCI-E Slots...

PCI-E 3.0 will double the transfer rate and is expected in 2009 or 2010...

    Your Crosshair has...
    (2) PCI Express x16
    (1) PCI Express x4
    (3) PCI Slots

Don't worry the 8800GT cards will work...

My local best buy still has a BFG 8800GT 512MB version in stock for 250. Looks like that's the place to buy them.

In stock? Does nobody frequent Best Buy any more? That's a good deal too, I'm amazed they didn't sell out like all the other retailers did.
