I've seen benchmarks with it being about 30 faster than the Ultra in most cases, so yes it IS worth the money in many cases. Of course some games it's about 30 percent slower, but that's just anomalies. I guess it up to you and what games you play. Also that's just China it's about 440 dollars when released here, which is better than 500 you would pay for two 3870s.

    Bioshock 1280*1024 = 4% Slower
    Bioshock 1920x1200 = 24% Faster
    Bioshock 2560*1600 = 39% Faster

    COJ 1280*1024 = 11% Faster
    COJ 1920x1200 = 24% Faster
    COJ 2560*1600 = 10% Faster

    COJ 1280*1024 4AA 16AF = 13% Faster
    COJ 1920x1200 4AA 16AF = 23% Faster

    Crysis 1280*1024 = 13% Slower
    Crysis 1920x1200 = 2% Slower
    Crysis 2560*1600 = 12% slower

    COD4 1280*1024 = 42% Faster
    COD4 1920x1200 = 32% Faster
    COD4 2560*1600 = 26% Faster

    COD4 1280*1024 4AA 16AF = 27% Faster
    COD4 1920x1200 4AA 16AF = 20% Faster
    COD4 2560*1600 4AA 16AF = 16% Faster

    Serious Sam 2 1280*1024 HAA 16AF = 30% Faster
    Serious Sam 2 1920x1200 HAA 16AF = 45% Faster
    Serious Sam 2 2560*1600 HAA 16AF = 78% Faster

    UT3 1280*1024 = 7% Faster
    UT3 1920x1200 = 24% Faster
    UT3 2560*1600 = 37% Faster

    F.E.A.R. 1600*1200 = 20% Faster
    F.E.A.R. 2048*1536 = 20% Faster

You can see it varies a bit from game to game, but it's still a good deal.

Well I can't imagine ME having the money to buy this so I'm gonna have YOU guys do it hehehe lol.

Yes, LP, that's why I was talking about.

Blade, don't try to take this personally but you mean to say "On the Contrary". I hate it when people say stuff like "Au Contrary" or "On the Contraire".

I mean damn if you want to say it in French say it in French, so need to make a bastardization of the word!

Sorry had to get that out of my system.

i hope you aint order yet. that PSU is overkill. get the more efficient, more quite, corsair HX520. and your another guy thats been sucked into the gigabyte band wagon. Asus are not crap at all. hell even better clockers. there top end always set the bench for highest FBS. the ASUS P5E DDR2 is a high end X38 chipset. its very good OCer, and had a lot of features. gigbyte arnt the only good mobo company.
