    @cincy,
Nice pics buddy. May I suggest that you use a table cloth next time. lol. You'll have to lay the case on it's side anyway and you will save some scratches from forming and some of your A$$ at the same time. lol. :p

That case is pretty nice innit?? AND by the time you get your MIR back you'll have paid less than $30 for it. WOW you dog!! I think I paid $50 or something like that for mine. :p

    happy building...

yea i took the table cloth away when i put all the parts on the table too..lol

heck once i get the rebate back the case will only cost 19.99.cant beat that at all..

got a question here. a certain doc told me to makesure im grounded when i do my build. just what did he mean by that??

oh yea im gonna give ya all some humor here
when i swapped out my burners. i had just done a burn and forgot to take out the disc.
so i hade the 18x drive in the new tower when i remembered this.had to take it out and hook it back up to the old tower and get it out...lmao
yea now heres the real question other than me how many others have done this????

    cincyrob,
All you needed was a paper clip. There's a tiny hole that you stick the paper clip straight in and push. Then the drive will open without power!LOL!!

    Best Regards,
    Russ

I'm sure more than one but NOT me. hehehe. BUT most of use just use the tool that came with the drive or the right sized paper clip and stick it in the little bitty hole in the front and the drive will open right up. :p

    So what about it?? lol.

It's not a bad drive rob. I have it and it does ok. You really should consider a Pioneer or Sony/NEC/Optiarc for an alternate drive. :D

Turn it upside down and then install as normal - the screw holes are inverted too so it fits the same wasy as any other PSU, just upside down.

awesome, thanks. oh by the way which one is better? P182 or 900? P182 is more of a silent case, and 900 is more of a cooling

That depends. The P182 is imo a better designed case, but it's designed for quietness. If you're after extreme cooling, the 900 may be more suitable.

hmm, this is tough, i want silent and good cooling, and yeah i like the design of P182 too, but cooling is also good...

i'll take 900 then, if you you turm the fan speed to the lowest it's quiet and on high it's loud, so when i'm nont gaming i'll turn is low, when gaming for a bit then mid, and when lanning then high, thats good.

but P182 is spacious, is this true more space = more cooling?

    Now ASUS P5E or GA-X38-DS4?

Compared to the 900, the 182 isn't spacious, but it's not much smaller - it's a large case but seems more cramped due to the compartment-style construction. if you want a quiet PC, go with a 182, it can stil cool a gaming PC perfectly well enough.

Come the end of the auction, that'll go for the same price as you can buy one new for, I guarantee it.
