Shaffaaf: That is dirt cheap for a 3870...

What will a future proof motherboard be? Don't tell me it's GA-P35-DS3R

well as you guys may know that i want PCI-E 2.0, if that board has that then it's truly futureproof. P35C-DS3R can only support DDR3 upto 1333, and only two slots for it.

Pepp: Interesting, but I'm probably going to go with a 1TB GreenPower if it's cheap enough, should I upgrade my storage. I can't justify repetitively spending money on my storage, so I need something that'll last. That said though, it would be nice to have a bigger drive to install my games to, so I may consider a 750 too. My 250GB 7200.9 fills very easily!

My 1.5TB file server's nearly full with stuff. The 1TB drives may be necessary just to not run out of spaces to put drives!

I currently have 1 x 250 gig drive and 3 x 500 gig drives - was tempted by the 750gig one myself - but couldnt justify the spend when one of the 500gig ones is only just over a month old and Ive just spent £400 on other PC parts and £100 on a satnav and a pair of Rockwood boots.

Save your Money, it's not THAT great. I like mine and everything, but the 360 gets a lot more play time than my PS3 or my Wii ever did.
