Well that was it, I chose to place an order with them not really on the back that I wanted more condemning evidence, but that I would for once have an order with them that went well to clear their name. Citylink seemed to provide the debacle this time, claiming not to know where my road was due to a poorly printed map (didn't stop the last dozen citylink drivers), and blagging off the reason for the 4.45pm 'premises closed' as the usual old chestnut, a "contract driver" - it's one Amtrak and Citylink have used before.

In fairness to OcUK, the order was dispatched relatively promptly, and their next day delivery cut-off is longer than Aria's so an order placed with the latter at a similar time was only dispatched this evening. Additionally, the OcUK shipping was £2 cheaper than for Aria, on an order that probably weighs slightly less - this is mainly due to the fact that they offer linkletters though.

Abuzar: Don't have deep pockets? How are you getting multiple 30" monitors then?

I noticed the 1200 came in stock recently. Nice as it is, the cooling was overkill in the 900, let alone the 1200. Still, it would be nice to have that extra room - and I pray they fixed the 900's hideous design flaws in the new one.

 

OK, I have a lot of cash handy. I use it to invest in things, not to waste.

Honestly though, what I do is based on pure luck lol. I just get lucky a lot. Lucky in finding good contacts and stuff who supply me with cheap crack... ahhhmm I mean monitors.

IMO the 1200 is the finshed article, to whatthe 900 could have been.

strudy. well built. FULLY black. cable management whore. etc etc etc.

its amazing, and its the next component im buying after a nice 24/26 inch screen.

 

Yeah, I kind of prefer its looks to the 900. As for the monitor, Dell 2408? Samsung SM245?

I know it's steel! LOL!! I was just thinking about this case I had one time and it wobbled all over the map until everything was screwed down and installed. As you know, I really like my Cooler Master Cavalier, which incidentally has been returned to CM's product list!

I'm selling them for 800 plus shipping. I think they might be refurbished. All they come with is the monitor and power cables. I checked and they are all under warranty by HP. This is the link at newegg(except I have the newer revision). Not talking about 24 or 26 inches, these are 30 Inches!

Should I use 64 O/S?? Apparently all my drivers need to be signed and support 64 so......
I already looked this up all over the place, and I can't find a straightforward answer....sorry if I this is a stupid question.

I personally think if you're gonna go with a 64 bit OS (Windows) you should go with Vista as you're doing. I like the idea of having SP1 already there. Saves one step and is worth the extra $10 to me. jm2c.... isn't worth much but hey...

You're still gonna have to run the Windows update utility but having SP1 as I said should shave some time there.

And here I am thinking that all current Vista users have to pay for the SP1 update....stupid me.
Anyway, what's the advantage over 32bit? It's faster n supports 4GB ram, but I'm worried about the driver compatability.
