The Artic Silver thermal past has made a differance already... should see even better temps after break in time... Thanks for the heads up, I will stop crying for now

Off hand or point me in the right direction... at what temp should I let my burners cool down at?- I run three per sig. so I figure they should generate some heat after a while?

no it was the GT it was also on a rebate though. RIght now you can get a 7900 GS for 140 or a 7600 GT for 110 both with small rebates. I am just waiting for more 8 series cards to push down the 7950 price I think. Right now I can get a nice BFG one for about 250 But I wanna try to get one for about 200.

SATA I runs at 150MB/s SATA II runs at 300MB/s

II is just newer and made to work faster. It is backwords compatible though. So if your MOBO is SATA I you can buy a SATA II HD and dont need to worry.

    hey all

so I bought this sound card the other day but now that I looked back at it I see that it needs a PCI 2.1 bus, which I hope to god I have. So my question is how do I know if my PCI bus is 2.1? My computer is pretty old, I'd say 3-4 years, and it has a PC Chips M851 v1.3A mobo, if that helps. I hope it does have it or I might just have to make my computer upgrade 6 months early.

Do you have a budget for the power supply? Coolmax and Thermaltake are good brands. Make sure you look for something that is SLI certified.

Really, looking at it seems there are only two fans and three bays... so that case has 5 bays on top of those fans....

do you need to put the 1 controller in a front bay? your sound card will go in the rear of the case.

it will hold three drives in the front with the two fans . if you take one fan out you will have three more bays you can use for a total of 6 bays
