You could arrange to import one yourself. Get an international courier to receive it and send it to you. That wouldn't be cheap, but hey.
    The Toughpower units aren't bad.

couriers are expensive, and yes i know toughpower aren't that bad but it's quite expensive, but hey good PSU come at a price, i think i'll get it.

oh for the 750w PC Power & Cooling it's Maximum Power 701 - 800W what about the ToughPower 700w? or and the 750w? what are there max power?

If you want a high output PSU, get the Toughpower 750W. Mine has served me very well and I can't think of any reason to replace it quite yet :)

    Grrr, shuddup lol

No, really. I would have been fine with any good 500W but I wanted high power to make sure I did not stress my PSU in ANY conditions. I would even be happy with my Enermax Liberty 620W in this system as it is far more than enough for me.

As far as I'm concerned, my AMD build has gone on the back burner. I'm using it as a storage server right now and to play all my Valve stuff. If at all possible, it will be the base for a Penryn system soon. If performance is good enough, I will swap out the guts to my Thermaltake Armor and put the Intel into the Sunbeam Silent Storm case.

RAM, PSU, and video card will all be moved into the AMD.

Shipping to South Africa from the US would probably cost around 25-30 dollars.

P.S. I just got an HDMI cable from newegg! I want to see how HD movies look.

I have a PS3. Also I ship computer parts internationally all the time, and it's pretty much a fixed rate.

Hey guys, I'm scared that my AOpen 450w psu won't be enough to power my new computer E2180, GA-P35 DS3R, 2 HDD, 1 DVD-DL, 7600GS 256Mb and OCed CPU, not planning to get the psu first, really need a new computer that runs without having a problem

I don't think I've ever heard A-open being praised as a good PSU. I don't know I would stay away from it. I just witnessed a a PSu blow a motherboard, cpu, and harddrive so I'm more afraid of that now.

Well, it will probably have enough power, but it will only be able to deliver it while it's on fire. AOpen is the only brand of power supply I know to have literally caught fire whilst running a PC.
You'd be incredibly foolish to upgrade your PC without getting a decent PSU first. ALWAYS make the PSU the first priority, or that PC's going to seem pretty damn expensive when you destroy most of the parts, or maybe even your home.

lol, fire psu, that sure is something, i guess i'll buy the psu first, but then i'll have to wait for another 2 - 3 months before i can get my computer...

man i'm angry with myself for not buying a decent psu in the past, other wise i don't need to worry about it now.

well, thnx to you guys, i know more about PSU...

You MUST buy a decent PSU before proceeding. I can't state how important that is.
With some other brands I may sometimes make exceptions, but AOpen sit right at the bottom of my quality list due to theone's fire incident. I would never recommend using one to power any PC, let alone a high powered gaming rig.

I agree with sammorris. If you want to make sure your PC is safe, get a better PSU. AN OCZ unit will do nicely, but maybe a Corsair or Thermaltake would be better if you have the funds.

Yep. I can't help but think the whole Penryn Extreme CPU and crossfired 3800s is a bit of a dream, if you can't even afford a decent power supply, so a 600W Stealthxstream would probably serve you fine.

The 600W would probably be fine.

i have a prescott 3.06 with 2 sata HDD and a sata DVDrw and an x1900xt...... running perfectly from a Tagan U15 - 430W PSU.

TAGAN ae very very solid, aslong as you dont go over about 600W. they are extremely reliable and customer serive is excleent
