I used to be a valet for a pretty big casino, so I've either driven or seen just about every kind of car made. That's a good job if you like expensive / nice cars, aus... Get a job as a valet at a nice hotel or casino. Godo tips, good money.
Yeah, I work at a grocery store, and I used to be outside pushing carts and I would get to see a lot nice cars including the Viper and rare Supra. Now I work inside and all I see are people
Nice Camaro. What year is that? 96, 97? Somewhere around there. I am a huge fan of it's twin, firebird. Owned 3 so far and plan to get another soon. Gonna try and trade the eclipse for a 99-2001-ish Trans Am with low miles and preferably WS6. Oh how I miss the sound of an LS1. I've gotten to used to the weed eater and swishing noise of my car that I'd almost forgotten until I saw your car, lol.
Actually, lol, you probably won't believe me when I say this but I live on the Mississippi Coast. It wouldn't seem like the casino type area, but we have the second biggest strip of casino's second to only Vegas. I worked for a casino that was actually owned by MGM Mirage, though. So we were linked back to Vegas. A lot of the valet's here went to Vegas because most of the valets in Vegas (if they work at the nicer casinos: Bellagio, MGM Grand, etc...) make around $40k/annualy. It's a really good job if you don't mind running your ass off and equally kissing ass. There was once a high roller came in and parked a Lambo Diablo on the valet, but didn't want anyone to touch it. He gave one of the limo driver's $500 to just watch it and make sure no one fucked with it. I still remember it as it was the 3rd day of my training in valet. It was bright yellow and the license plate said "200PLUS".
Very nice car went for a song yesterday. 1984 Ford mustang, 3.2 Litre Injection, Nice condiditon low mileage for...........wait for it.... £200/$400. Beat that. Didn't manage to get it in the end though insurance wouldve killed me.
lol, indienemo, if you like stangs we have a 90 model GT for $900. You'd have to pick it up, though. It's 5.0, engine runs great. Bad thing is the tranny is fried. Was my sister's first car and she let it run slap out of tranny fluid after it got a front seal leak. Doesn't shift into any gear now, but the engine runs great.
It would have been somewhere in the region of £2700/$5400, a year on insurance. And thats 3rd party coverage only...And my dad as the main policy holder (me as a named driver). The only way I could afford to run that motha would be if it had a nice economical engine butwe all know that aint happening either...12MPG right?
I would Divinus, but id have to pay to get it shipped over to the United Kingdom...And even then I'd probably end up uninsurable on that kinda spec car.
Sup sup? I was directed to this thread by a mod and glad to see there are others like myself as well. Anyways, check out my site and let me know what you think. http://www.cardomain.com/id/michael40507 http://www.freewebs.com/michael40507 http://www.imagestation.com/members/michaels_artic_frost http://www.flickr.com/photos/michaels_artic_frost/ Thanks, Michael
Pretty Close, It's a 95 so I only have the LT1. I would have gone for a 98 or later so I could have the LS1 but this one only had 29000 miles on it!! And I couldn't pass that up. As for the sound I've totaly upgraded with a Flowmaster 80 series system. And hope by the end of the summer to have a duel K&N and 35% tint on my windows.
Actually I'd imagine that your more likely to get your stash lifted. If they see a nice car with tints alloys etc. they think its a boy racer lets give him a hard time...
