Lol many times in two days? Really are a fan aren't you?

Looks AMAZING. Better than HL2 for sure.

I doubt better than Half Life 2. It's supposed to be faithful to the original with some updating. No doubt of the same caliber though :p

    lol

    HAVE YOU SEEN THE TRAILER?

It DEFINITELY looks better than HL2. It's basically using the HL2 engine to remake HL1.

Like Estuansis, I saw the trailer years ago. It's one of those games I gave up on because it's been in development for too long.

No problem. Performance-wise it'd take quite a while to explain them all, but suffice to say, AMD are the only company worth looking at in the low or low to mid end range, I just haven't seen the nvidia alternatives be anywhere near cheap enough.

Though if you can find an 8800GT, that's still a pretty fast card for the money. For the right price, I would have bought one over my 8800GTS 512MB.

But mostly, AMD/ATi is still the best for your money right now. Nvidia is way overpriced.

The 8800GT I think is being phased out in favour of the 9800GT, the only new one I can find is the XFX one for $150, and you can get a vastly superior HD4850 for that.
The 9800GT tends to go for around $120, sometimes down to $95-$100 after rebates, which is pretty good, but the HD4830 is similarly priced (though without such good rebates), and is a noticeably faster card for most games.

Alright, more specifically then, a trailer. I wasn't aware another had been released, but nonetheless, it's been a long time since I first read about BM:S, I'll believe it when I see it.

Finally. Thanks for the link. Now to do a 24" Widescreen some justice :)

It's definitely going to be as good as Half Life 2. But it won't be better. It should look awesome. And it looks like it's using Source 2007 so it'll probably look better than Half Life 2 and Episode 1.

my 8800gt can play at high settings with no aa or af at 1920x1200 with about 40fps. the 4850 should do alot better than that.
