PS - Do you like russell peters, you seem like someone who enjoys his comedy, his comedy is also quite funny (even though many of his jokes are racist)

I just got done with WaW. A lot of really thrilling moments and the graphics are almost perfect. The water is incredible. The real-time lighting is amazing. It definitely outclasses CoD4 in graphics, IMO. All told the performance is about half the FPS of CoD4. But it earns it.

 

CoD5 uses the same base as CoD4 and has no major updates. True enough, infinity ward did not contribute on this game, but CoD4 did.

CoD5 has better multiplayer levels that is forsure. CoD5 has a more badass feel to it than CoD4. The dogs are more badass and less cheap than the helicopter, as you have a better chance with the dogs to not only survive, but gain some points.

Although this is a computer thread, I have CoD5 on my PC and can only do IP matches, I did dl the server crack. I've gamed most of my CoD5 on the PS3, I avg 28kill:5death, PigHeadedBeast if anyone has a PS3 account.

i got to second TheftAuto on COD5, what a game i cant play online as my ping is to high for that game.(for some unknow reason).
i think they could do with making the a little bit longer.

The game[CoD5] has excellent graphics. The water effects are as good as Crysis. The beach landing was a wild ride! Very similar to Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. And the flares in the jungle! WOW the lighting is awesome! I think the art direction and level design could be better though. Some parts were way too linear like a corridor crawl, but most of it was pretty fun. The shooting, movement, interaction, and graphical quality are the same as CoD 2 and 4 so it all feels pretty solid.

Overall

CoD2: 9/10
CoD4: 9.5/10
CoD5: 8/10

 

I started playing COD5 with my buddies and I was SOO EXCITED when it looked like COD2, but then I hated it because it played like COD4 haha. COD2 is my favorite game of all time

 

You guys really have to play 'Nazi Zombies' in CoD5, it might up your ratings on the game a few points. It is an excellent mini game included.

 

i love zombie nazis. if you lot have bought the game, we should all play together

 

I probably won't own the game till my paycheck in two weeks. Same thing that happened with Crysis, Deadspace, and Far Cry 2. I actually had the games about a month before I bought them. But I generally buy all of my games for my hard copy collection. Except GTA 4. That's a poorly coded mistake in programming. I'm not buying a game that barely runs on a high end OC'd quad core with 2 high end video cards in Crossfire. It's worse than Crysis because Crysis actually scales to system performance. GTA 4 just runs crap on everything.

HAHA never mind, I took it to 3.7GHz. Running Orthos Prime right now.

It hits an FSB wall at 425. It refuses to go any higher. So 3.7 works for me

 

That is very good with air. The highest I have herd is 3.8 stable. I got my friends to 3.66.

You should update your idle and load temps in your sig, unless that is what you read, but for 3.7 on air, I doubt those low temps highly, maybe the sensors maxed out or are uncalibrated.

 

i play the zombie game on hamachi but not having much look finding servers to paly as they are all ways full. if any wants to co-op i am all ways open for a game or 2. Call of duty 2 still to this day rocks i play ever night near inuff.

i agree with you and them temps for that overclock. i think the the thermal probe is up the wall with my cpu as well as i get 17C on idle on amd athalon dual core 5000+ .

i have not bought the game as when i try to play mutiplayer the normal way (ie using the privete server patch) my ping always goes to high. so cant join in online so there would be no point.

will have you a game of call of duty 2 if you got it.

The temps are still rising. I've topped at 60*C now. Will change my sig.

 

I found a mod for the 9600 gso that turns it into an 88000 gts 512. It uses a hacked bios to unlock the 128sp.

Nice. Very similar to the X800GTO to X800XL and X1800GTO to X1800XL.

My temps topped at 62*C after 24 hours of small ffts on Orthos Prime so I am completely happy with the OC. Absolutely no hiccups or crashes or voltage irregularities. Sitting at 36-38*C idling and surfing the net.

 

Ray, I have a Diamondback, and I think it's great. I personally think the ergonomics are better than the Habu.

 

I've been back and forth between a Logitech Mx518 and a Razer Krait. I love my Krait. Better mouse than the Habu or Diamondback, IMO. Personal preferences apply though. I have a friend who swears by his 8 year old Razer Boomslang. The thing is still spot-on accurate and just as sensitive as my Krait or better.
