First thing is being able to work on them and getting it right. :D Of course OC'in and such is NOT needed just making them work is difficult enough.... :p I know cause I've had some funny issues with mobos in particular. LOL. NOT just the Striker Negative Nancy!!! :p

NO GPU talk today boys??? Are you guys feeling under the weather or just tired of it?? :p

Nothing new to chat about really. I think my charts are about as comprehensive as they're going to get until the HD4870X2 is released, and that will spark more conversation I expect. Beside that though, prices seem the same, no new ridiculously demanding games coming out shortly, nobody in here asking for new GPUs, it's a GPU holiday! lol

Well, it still hasn't arrived yet, I'm more in awe of how cheap these sites are offering it for.

Well we're all fps'ers so I guess we could turn it into a handgun thread. Yeah boozer, I'd like to see the ruger and that other thing. Your nine picture is niiice. Is that you holding it or your dad? Whatcha talkin, I thought flights were dirt cheap! Well if you've sold all those systems on Craig's, why can't you sell service too - put it on the Orlando craig's but say - just for Sanford.

Anyways, all you guys who would like to try Service - like Sam - like Abuzar - like Shaff, you don't know where to begin. Here's where.

You make up a simple flier, and you go and have 50 run off. Or maybe 100. Then you hoof it over to the local college, the local comic book store, the local .... whatever. Not the local computer store. Wherever you spot a place to post a flier - car wash, etc.

The flier says, Computer Repair!! Expert repair, cheap prices! And your phone number. You don't need a front because you work on-site. "No extra charge for on-site work." You bring with you a spare copy of xp, assorted cables, random boot drive with xp already on it - oh, a screwdriver. And all your knowledge. And the first time, you know, you fake it a little, and the 10th time you're a pro!! If you honestly can't fix the thing at the beginning until you really get good, you don't charge. Chalk it up to learning.

No front needed, no car either - a bike with a basket - on the back! You guys have heard of the geek squad, right? Mo laughs at that. He laughs at most service people out there. He knows how to diagnose, and in some cases he just puts in his copy of the part he thinks is bad, and sees if that fixes it. It helps to have spare parts.

Anyway, you can pick up a moped later from the extra earnings. Start out charging $30 per hour - no shop can beat that price. Or start really low at $20/hour. One hour minimum.

Let's post a few flier ideas. Should we use boozer's pic of the nine? "Computer repair", and a big pic of boozer's nine. Just kidding! Some kind of hot pc shot that will look good in black and white on a xerox flier - on colored paper. LOL

The bad thing about that is that you will be asked to fix everything. Like, the old people that get their TV antennae bent and their microwaves broken will come to you for help. "You know computers, so can you fix this?" I get that all the fricken time and I am a programmer, not even a hardware specialist. Worst part is I feel bad and have to fix it for them. >.>

lol Actually my camera was being gay so I took that off google lol! I'll use my RAZR for the Rifles.

I'm serious about fixing them though. Hopefully I can make money, and I dont have to fix TV antennas! lol

Well instead of google, abuzar, why don't you just get your brother or sister or cousin or one of your redneck buddies, to take a shot of you holding the 9, with your rifles right behind you. I'll send it over to Homeland Security and with the reward I'll get my new build. Just kidding! What's a RAZR - oh, your phone?? Well ok, that's 640 x 480 - no, better than that, right, like 800 x 600? Ok, sure, have your cousin shoot you and all your "mass weapons of destruction" with the RAZR! (homeland, does that count?) Lol
