The max res, is 1280x800, just for the record, even mercenaries 2 won't let me make it higher then 1024x768

4850 outperforms the 8800gt for sure, not too sure how it rates against the gtx260

cod5 is based on cod4s infinity ward engine, so i dont think there will be anything bad, and on ign they were showing the multiplayer, seems brilliant.

also jack bower is in it!!!! AMAZING

ill order the collectors edition again, just like i did with COD4.

Game resolution is a game by game thing. If you're thinking of the old starcraft or diablo games than there's no such luck. There are quite a few older games where you can edit the .ini's to open up larger resolutions. The textures won't be any better, but you'll see a larger area.

If -none- of your games are letting you hit your max resolution, than you have problems.

The resolution issue is due to the games not a problem with the screen because I play a number of games at max. resolutions.

Lol, if you have a 30" monitor a 1GB will be better, otherwise 512Mb is the best choice!
