Intel has skulltrail, thats it's one motherboard with 4 PCI-E slots.

Oh yeah. Those last three sixes were the only thing that saved us. Shoaib Malik should not have been man of the match.

I know, at one point I was pretty sure we were gunna lose

Yup, they should really move him up. He played with confidence under so much pressure. The kid would make an excellent opener.

    Yeah, for sure
Better than the other new opener (the one with Salman Butt), he didn't play that well

    YOU CAN SAY THAT AGAIN!

Whew - would it NEVER end. HE should have been man of the game, HE sucked as usual, HE should marry my cousin! Hahahaha! Good match I guess.

No boozer, I can see that you were concentrating on something else. (I was doing something exciting too, waiting for that match to end - sitting out in my backyard watching the grass grow. lol)

Here's what I meant: With the 2 slot versions of the 4870 or next year's card, the style of card that blows the hot air out the back of the case - do the crossfire mobos space out the graphics card pci-e slots enough so you aren't really taking up two of them with that style of a graphics card - or does that style of a graphics card pose problems if you intend eventually to have two of them in crossfire mode?

Yeah, look up any pic of a crossfire motherboard. The slot right underneath the PCI-E slot is probably PCI or PCI-E x1 so one card doesn't take up two PCI-E x16 slots.

Ok, thanks boozer. That's what I wanted to know.

Hooray! I added the extra washers to the Kama Bay - the fan is now humming along without any - THAT'S RIGHT SAM ZERO - former noise of fan gently scraping thin X crossed filter retaining springs.

To keep myself sane, I ran Mark6 Return to Proxycom about 18 times while the cricket match was underway - I just couldn't take all of Afridi's screwups!!

The result: lower gpu and environmental temps than what I've been getting lately as reported by ATI Tray Tool. My gpu fan hit 59% at gpu temp of 66 - in the last many weeks during gaming day Wednesdays, I've been watching the fan run at 100% with gpu in the 80s, and annoying artifacts - brown walls across the screen, interfering in COD4 mp - getting me killed more often than usual!! How can I see the idiot with the shotgun - shaff probably - when there's a big brown fake wall across my screen that nobody else has on their computer!

I wonder how many months has my main front inlet 1600 rpm 120mm scythe been jammed by the filter? Here was the problem:

Thank god all that talk about top case fans made me take my side cover off yesterday to see if I could drill a set of holes on top of my case to mod a top exhaust case fan. Otherwise this situation would have gone on forever.

Hey, does anybody know a good patent attorney? I should be able to make enough bread from my kama bay fix above to be able to attract Shaff's cousin #2 and get her to forget about family - go for the man with the dough, right? Lol

Anyway, the answer to the top case exhaust fan question is, Yes I can. I know you were all wondering. (No you're all still arguing about Umar Gul versus Shoaib Malik for man of the match.)

But I have decided not to do that. The cpu hsf gets fresh air from a Sunbeam hose connected to a filtered opening in the side of the case. But other than, my only fresh inlet air is coming in from the top front mounted kama bay.

Looking at it with the side cover off, with a top exhaust fan I am afraid that some of that fresh air would simply come in and immediately go right out the top of the case - whereas I'm going to need that fresh air in the middle when the 3850 gets installed. Cooling the gpu, it can then exit the top psu, the upper back exhaust, the lower side exhaust, or the bottom blitztorm exhaust. Sam wants me to get the nice HIS 2-slot 3850 with rear exhaust, but I'll probably cheap out for $60 savings and get the Sapphire which just blows the hot air inside the case - I think my case can handle it! (Don't blame me for being a cheap bastard - all you guys said don't put any more money in a P4.)

My decision not to install a top-mounted exhaust fan raises an interesting question - depending on where your fresh air is coming from - does a top exhaust fan ALWAYS improve case cooling. In my case I am saying I am worried that it won't, but maybe I'm just wrong. What do all you guys think about that?

Afridi screwed up once. No second chances when you are batting. He was out there batting for maybe 5 mins and he got out. LIKE ALWAYS. I need to stop expecting things from him.

Face it boozer, you have a bad case of cricket addiction. No helping you once you watch a match and start judging Afridi again - it's in your blood. He told me to ask you for forgiveness but I don't think it's in you. He was on his knees sobbing. I told him "Allah Akhbar" that calmed him down a little. I don't think you should be so harsh. After all, think of all those cousins, and poor shaff only the two.
