    lol

Calm down. It's not biddah because you aren't adding to the religion. If we say gaming is part of religion then it's biddah.

You need to brush up on your terminology ;)

Wow, that was some wild laptop talk - I should pay attention because I have to get a laptop reasonably soon for real estate - but I'm not EVEN going to try at all to game on it!!! No Way!! Not that I'm saying anything about the laptops you guys get, because I know that some ARE good for gaming. It's just that - I have to keep real estate, and gaming, WAY apart.........

.......Or ... no houses will get sold, and I'll be Jesse James in CS with big rep across the web (and living out of my car :(

So, Sam, back on topic, the MS-7103 basically sucks at overclocking, and I might have to use that program you talked about, software overclocking with limited results? Did I remember correctly? You said for me to look at the Bios. What should I look for?

Your own responsibility, if you've managed to enjoy your life so far without missing prayers, I'm sure you'll sort something out at fragsoc.

Rich: I'm not definitely saying it's useless for overclocking, but that's usually the case. You're after any settings in the BIOS that allow the change of Voltages, and even more importantly, the front side bus speed. If they're not there, it's Software overclocking time.

Integrated graphics versus high-power dedicated graphics cards
780G,790GX are AMD IGPs, 8300 and 9300 are nVidia IGPs, X4500 is Intel GMA IGP on G45 chipset.

    Enemy Territory: Quake Wars
    HD4670 - 99fps at 1280x1024
    HD4850 - 91fps at 1680x1050 4xAA
    HD4870X2 - 101fps at 2560x1600 4xAA
    780G - 20fps at 1024x768
    790GX - 25fps at 1024x768
    8300 - 21fps at 1024x768
    9300 - 32fps at 1024x768
    X4500 - 5fps at 1024x768
That's right folks, Intel's fastest X4500 IGP is 20 times slower than a $100 graphics card at half the resolution.

    Half Life 2 Episode Two
    X4500 - 15fps at 800x600
    8300 - 23fps at 800x600
    780G - 30fps at 800x600
    9300 - 37fps at 800x600
    790GX - 39fps at 800x600
    HD4670 - 67fps at 1280x1024 4xAA
    HD4850 - 75fps at 1920x1200 4xAA
    HD4870X2 - 85fps at 2560x1600 4xAA
    HD4870X4 - 128fps at 2560x1600 4xAA

    Call of Duty 4
    X4500 - 22fps at 800x600
    8300 - 28fps at 800x600
    780G - 32fps at 800x600
    790GX - 39fps at 800x600
    9300 - 43fps at 800x600
    HD4670 - 74fps at 1280x1024
    HD4850 - 67fps at 1680x1050 4xAA
    HD4870X2 - 84fps at 2560x1600 4xAA

    Crysis
    X4500 - 6fps at 800x600 low, graphical corruption
    8300 - 18fps at 800x600 low
    780G - 22fps at 800x600 low
    790GX - 27fps at 800x600 low
    9300 - 30fps at 800x600 low
    HD4670 - 27fps at 1680x1050 medium
    HD4850 - 22fps at 1920x1200 High
    HD4870X2 - 25fps at 1920x1200 Very High

@Everyone! Whihch brand of notebooks are better? Asus? Acer? Dell? Cheap one, mostly for Office 2007, programmings, multimedia...and a little gaming such as Guild wars?

I could try , but PC gaming is unheard of here

All they know here is PS3, 360

Even my friends who game on pcs never want to link up
    (boring :p)

@GTR35 - Dell,,acer, and toshiba are better quality wise compared to acer, but to choose between the first 3 you would need prices and specs

I heard Toshiba make good laptops but a little over priced, as for Dell i believe they do make good ones and Asus is also good.

My friends and I partake in other activities that are a lot more fun and give you a much bigger adrenaline rush :D

Our favorite is probably taking cab to the desert (a little outside the city :p), renting quad bikes and driving them on dunes and such (carefully of course :p)

Wicked fun, probably beats a LAN anyday

Did you not read the word CAREFULLY :p

We don't race, and the ATVs aren't full sized manual ones.
You need ID to rent those and we aren't 18
