Newcastle hasn't had any trams since goodness knows how long, so it's not our Newcastle.

    sammorris,
From the look, it may have been very old! I only know of two Towns called Newcastle. The one on the Tyne in England and the one in Australia, which I think supplies Coal!

They've both had tramways, so I'm inclined to think it's from Aus.

Hehe, in any case it's humourous that people put up signs like that.

russ I wish i had kept all of the signs i used to have to install as an electrician and then high voltage cable jointer, lol they were just as dumb, these were in oil refinery's, power stations, military bases / & civil aviation authority.

the thing is only us high voltage guys were allowed acces to these areas but, due to regs we had to put signs up which applied to the general public, although they would never go there or even see the area we worked. the obvious ones were the danger high voltage, and then you had the silly ones like do not work on the busbar whilst live, the thing is to access the busbar you had to remove the door to the distribution panel, which entailed a switched handle which broke the circuit on the incomming side. the weird thing was the signs were placed by the busbar :eek:S

mind you they had much more harmful kit at a certain army testing base i worked at installing high voltage switch gear ect, they had micro wave transmiters that knocked birds out of the air in the local area (nearly a mile radius), when the alarm went off you had to go to the lead lined bunkers. nasty stuff, i guess much like xray machines, but say 1,000,000 more risky =o)

I'd imagine so, but I'm not sure how much. If you want a good overclocker, get the 4000 series.

    ck5134,
Microwaves generate heat by boiling all the moisture in something. Very fatal to the eyes in particular! The lead is to shield the Magnatrons, they give off radiation! X-Ray Radiation will burn the skin right off of you! It's a nasty burn too! Very slow to heal and painful too!

    EXTREMELY!

they over clock like the dogs nutz.

Alot of them go to 100% OCs, even with stock cooling.

If i were you i would go for the E4X50 versions. there are 65nm proccessors, and therefore are superb clockers.

With the stock cooler? Are you sure? That's nuts.
REAM: All the CPUs Intel have made in the last couple of years are 65nm.
