Lol barely 2.5 hours - an HP laptop here has a 1.4Ghz Celeron and only lasts 2.5 hours at minimum brightness, around 1.5 hours at full brightness - which isn't very bright anyway.
Your PC sold yet? I should have my new GPU tomorrow, so I'd like to try some FEAR Combat with you at max settings.. hehe
No, it didn't go through Hey broad message to all of you guys out there. I want to sell my PC. If you know someone who wants one let me know.
Sup ppl, First of all, with stock speed (1.4GHz) I get 3 minutes of battery life... at 2.5GHz, I get 2mins 50secs battery life soooooo I dont think it really matters. Secondly, I didn't see an increase in temps cause I replaced the stock $hi* with sum of the Zalman stuff (nail polish bottle thing). Does anyone know of a pin mod for a 533mhz C2D mobile? I have here a T5300 1.73GHz C2D and would like to do a pin mod to 667Mhz. thanks, -im1992
lol, yea the battery is basically dead (bought the laptop in Nov of 2005, so not a big surprise)...the laptop is worth ~200 bucks and a new battery is about a 100 bucks so its really not economical to buy a new battery for it. -im1992
That's fair enough I suppose, the battery works fine in my dad's laptop which is also from late 2005, but it hasn't been used that often since new. Maybe seen as much use as my PC would in 6 months.
yea, i blew the hard drive on this laptop (dell b120) like 3 times and got RMA from samsung each time plus it is just a real pain to use (very slow!). when I first got it, i used to use it all day w/o the A/C adapter with everything on low (cpu running at 700mhz, screen brightness at its lowest). charge at night it was used like that till summer of 2007 and now its just something I play around with once in a while does anyone have a Celeron M / Pentium M (dothan only - 90nm) laptop they are wanting to sell? lol, i just wanna overclock these things now that i got the hang of it -im1992
hey guys i only plan on OC my q6600, not GPU, but i was just wondering, what do you get out of overclocking your ram? im just getting 4gb of ram, which i think is plenty, so i was wondering what kind of performance boost would you get out of OC the ram?
so i have an E2140, and have taken it to about 3.37 GHz, lets call it 3.4. my temps reach about 69-71 under priming with smalll FTTs (sp?) should i change my cooler, (water cool perhaps) or is this temprature fine? i have an Artic Cooler Freezer 7 pro at the moment. or should i lap the CPU?
You should consider lapping it, but there is no need for water cooling. Honestly, you will never see the temperatures that high in real life. See if you can lower the vcore a bit in the BIOS. That should help too. Also what is your fan speed at?
nah, you will be fine DO NOT lap it, warranty dies if you do in case you fry ur cpu in the future, if its not lapped you are very likely to be given a replacement... thats just my 2 cents -im1992
