I prefer using the 64bit version because I just might come across a program the properly utilizes 64bit. You never know. I have 3GB of ram so I dont worry about it too much.

I think it's better than the 32bit version of Windows Vista. But the last time I used 32bit version was when my laptop came filled with Dell Bloatware and I formatted and installed the 64bit version.

Well I'm hoping it was the lack of memory. I'll definitely going to give it another try.I've got enough Computers (4) and getting ready to build another. Going to setup a tivo type With D/L capabilities for my new 47" tv after my trip to Vegas with my Daughter (we're starting to rebond after many yrs of silence) Its a good feeling. I know,my daughter even asks why do U need so many Comp, I just tell her it has replaced my sex drive with a HDD. She Laughs which is good
Also have to build one for my grand daughter who I love very much

I'm also agreed on Vista since SP1. Other than the bootup time, which I know is specific to my install since Shaff's is so fast, there aren't anywhere near as many issues as when it was first released. On the other hand though, the networking in it is still poor, DirectX10 performance is still far lower than DX9 for the same detail levels, and incompatibilities with games that came out after Vista's release still exist. For me, primarily due to me being a dual graphics user, I can't really be without Vista, but I can't be without XP either.

I thought Shaff had removed some of the bloat with some program?

it's less the bloat of the OS itself, more how it was installed for me. Shaffaaf did the sensible thing and install it to a clean hard disk, so while the drive may be fragmented and full at the end, Vista is all at the beginning, nice and straight forward. I installed vista to a drive that was already nearly full with data, resulting in it being shoved in all sorts of small nooks and crannies.

Well you have to remove your password I think. Also in your account settings make sure it has "Ask for password on startup" or something like that disabled.

Go to User Accounts in the control panel. Select "Change the way users log on and off". Uncheck the top box, "Use the Welcome screen", and it should boot right up!

Yeah both of those are fine as far as quality goes. Nothing high end, but not too bad.

Sam wont like the PSU though.

What would have happened to Chevrolet if we all liked & bought Fords
Can U maybe suggest a similar priced & better PSU 500to600 watt
Kinda leary of lower Wattage PSU

    I think it's fine for a regular(non-gaming) computer.

The Antec Earthwatts 380 and Corsair 430 are also excellent low wattage units.

I don't inherently dislike that PSU, but I just don't recommend a power supply manufacturer that has no idea why the output from their units fluctuates, and no other manufacturers' do.

You're the OCZ man, so are these any good? I particularly like the low 1.8v requirement and they won't be overclocked!

Well I had sticks of OCZ platinum and they were HORRIBLE. Had like 6 of them fail on me. I have not heard bad things about these though.

And they ARE good about replacing them.
