ZoSo.... that's just wrong right there. lol. I guess they didn't order the Corsair's until later or they weren't in stock. ROFL... well at least they are doing the right thing!!!!

btw what did you pay them to put this thing together... and if you bought the components what would it cost you?? I'm just curious as there's a custom shop here in town that seems pretty up on stuff. :) Well they have a lot of ASUS mobos in stock. :D And it's what they carry as stock. :p

Well I cant play right now, and I just started playing games again(I stopped for a while). But I have Gears of War, Halo 3, COD4, the usual fare.

Oh and I sold my personal gaming PC months ago. That's why I'm building a new one.

I dont like losing money on them so I dont keep them for long. Anyway I like Halo2, but I'm not that good. I'll play though. Whats your gamertag?

    Oh and I love COD2.

yeah i guess they didn't have the Corsair when they put it together and wanted to get it done so they gave me the Patriot that they had in stock and hoped i didn't notice (yes i told them to order and use the Corsair from the get go).

GM they charged me 75.00 to build it and the parts were about 20.00 more each then newegg prices. but the PC shop warranty is better.I need to learn how to build them myself.

well i got Call Of Duty 4 today so I'm going to give it a try, really cool game

My take on it: No way.

You need atleast the 550VX or the 520HX. It's because the 4870s take a LOT of power.

ok thanks. I need to stop buying the smallest psu that will work and just buy a nice big one like the 750VX.

    lol

The 450VX is pretty damn good, and it would run your 4870 config probably but not OCed. Also the 4870 requires two6 pin connectors. Your PSU only has one.

I bought a 650TX. It should be enough for everything including 4870 crossfire.

new cards usually come with a molex 6 pin adapter so i dont think it would be a problem hooking it up. but i will definitely by a new psu when i upgrade my processor and graphics.
