There's your problem Keith... STOP using chrome and start using FF3!!! :)

add: AND the other thing you can do is X out (close) the box to the left of the response section. :)

It's because of that light blue bar from top to bottom on the left of the page, next to the usernames. The light blue is so wide because you have the 'Topics' thingy open, see here ~

I always have that hidden as it takes up too much screen space..

edit- LOL at my slow reply, grabbing & editing images can be crap in linux sometimes.

I used it for a while and went back to FF3... NOT that I really disliked chrome I just like FF3 and I think that chrome reports everything you do to GOOGLE.... I may be misinformed there but that's one reason for dumping it for me. :)

No no I have not. I was not aware of its existence.

I'll put it through it's paces and see what the outcome is :)

I've dumped Opera now (no reason) and just use FF across my machines. FF3 on all Windows machines and FF 2.0.0.20 on all the linux boxes, everything just works. FF3 did keep crashing but i narrowed that down to it not liking the AVG safesearch addon. Dumped that and all my crashes vanished..

Wow Avant is at another level of FAIL! (Benchmark wise, Results will vary by system.)

    Peacekeeper: Higher better
    Sunspider: Lower better

Benchmarking a browser, i've never heard of such a thing. Not something that floats my boat in the slightest either :p

WOW! I just found something Avast actually does do.
It pretends to be (or quite possibly is) Internet Explorer so all the sites that 'make Firefox (all none IE browsers) sad' work properly: http://toastytech.com/good/badsitelistframe.html

I was messing with you.. ROFL. It's IE based IIRC. :D

add: there's another one called K-meleon that's supposed to be pretty good... Only used a few times and didn't want to make the effort to conform. ;)

    Or
    IE TAB(link)
And really since you only need IE for 1 out of 50 websites, if you visit it frequently, just tell FF to always open the specific one with IE engine in tools section of toolbar. Everything else is opened with FF as expected.

I use FF 2.0.0.14! Why, because none of the YouTube videos can be saved with later versions. It doesn't work on IE, Opera, Chrome, or later versions of FF. Looks suspiciously to me like they are angling for you to have to pay to do it! All pop up a message telling you that the RealPlayer Plug-in has been disabled when you install them! There's no technical reason for doing that. They used to work on 3.0, and one day when I opened it I got the message about the plug-in having been disabled! I want to be able to record YouTube Videos, and I don't want to have to do it recording streaming video!

Currently using Firefox 3.5 on all my machines except the laptop. There I use Chrome because it's less processor and memory heavy which makes a big difference with multiple tabs.

Not sure if your refering to the right-click option or not. But to be able to use the right-click just disable javascript. With the javascript disable anything you want can be right-clicked again and saved.

By the way I see some of you have edited your posts. I've looked for the edit button when I make a mistake however, I can't seem to locate it.

If someone could pass along how to do this it would be greatly gratful.

    Thanks
