    @Russ

There's nothing wrong now at 3.935ghz and stable on this board my friend, even dropped the vcore down alittle that's my goal until it's not stable under low voltage at this clock speed. I believe something was wrong with my biostar I45 that day anyway that's why it was reading funny Mips results with low output numbers biostar send me a brand new board now it's still in the box.I'm coming to do a rebuild with it new case, cpu, memory and so on...I gotta e-mail my dude back at Biostar and learn what the tests showed on my old board if they have it to offer...i'm liking the new win7 ultimate running 32 bit with no problems for me so far keeping my fingers crossed...LOL

i'm Not turning with easy tune.I'm tuning it within the bios itself(M.I.T). I see they just released another Bio's update for the Rev 1.6 on 11-24( Fix DES version error) what's that pertain to? and alot of people
are saying it's better to flash your bios with Q-Flash than @bios outside of the OS instead inside the OS how you feel about that?

Ps. here's the page where the mips testing got started almost at the bottom. i was at 3.81 then on the I45

    Will,

    Looks good!

As far as the DES error goes, something is not right in the Dynamic Energy Saver. You might uninstall it and re-install it again, after you re-boot! I've been using EZ-Flash since it first came out, and have absolute faith in the process! Just don't do it through Windows! LOL!!

    Happy Holidays,
    Russ

LOL, Can YOU punch out 4.0Ghz? And run it 24/7 :p

Rob, what is with the low clock speed? Surely you want at least 3.8 :D

the i5s are insane clockers, practially guarranteed 4GHz, even with a lowly GB-P55-UD2

Certainly the only thing I would trust at that frequency. Never owned an intel myself, but i've noticed they generally run pretty warm LOL!
JUST AN OBSERVATION by the way. Could be merely circumstantial.

Well well, you jept the i5 quiet!
You can easily get an i5 to 4Ghz on air, you don't need watercooling, let alone Ln2. In fact, you can reach 4.3Ghz on air if you're willing to live with higher temperatures. Of course this does require a proficient cooler.

here is the memory running on it.
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231277
and i dont know why is says single chanel in CPUZ has me baffled.

as for the 3.3ghz oc. that is just for now. straight from the box to 3.3ghz OC didnt leave it at stock 2.6ghz mid week it will go up.

this biostar board is nice. one little set back on the back side where the CPU sets it has a reinforcement type plate. with the CM V8 cooler on it i have to put a extra spacer on the mounting bracket so it dont touch any of the metal parts on the back side.

I had to look for myself to see what you was talking about your right my friend a few spacers will be need to make that cooler work and seat properly that goe's to show you alittle modifying needs to be done.I wonder why Biostar wanted to use that big of a back plate that had reasons.I guess

hey if you get chance ask him to do some memtest on that memory.i would like to see how it works out at that 1.5v it's recommended to run at

Hey guys. Any thoughts on this badboy? I've been looking at 8 Port controller cards but as im sure you know, they're friggin spendy! I suppose I could get by with 4 ports for now...
    http://cgi.ebay.com/SYBA-4-Ports-SA...emQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item563749c6a1
I'm finally strongly considering RMA'ing my mobo. To do so, im gonna need to get by comfortably LOL! To do so, I need a card with at least these capabilities, at a decent price. And since my Dual core MSI machine is awesome, it deserves a card like this for the long run LOL! Besides, one can never have to many Sata ports. You hear me Gigabyte! ;)

I have 8 Sata ports, and 12 USB ports on mine! LOL!!
