LOL russ. I realize that. I just like confirmation is all. It'd be my luck, that I buy a low RPM 120mm fan, and have it be some strange size like 90mm or 100mm. Yes, this is my luck
Oman7, I would pull the front bezel off and check for the size. My best guess would be 80mm. The way it looks in the picture, there seems to be slots for different size fans, but there appears to be holes as well. I would first see what fits first! Russ
I'm gonna take a chance :S Since I've seen the tower in person a few times, and seeing the holes in the pics, I would darn near bet that it takes a 120 or 80. There are multiple holes you can see If it doesn't fit, I can no doubt use the 120 for something else. I do like those scythe fans I'm also gonna buy this card, to replace my current. That way I have the external eSATA ports, til I can see about repairing my HAF's front port. Is there any reason I should steer away from this card? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16816132013
I've been coping with a sata 1.5 card I noticed that part. Typically, the Sata II cards cost considerably more...
SYBA SD-SATA2-4IR PCI SATA II (3.0Gb/s) Controller Card SYBA SY-PCI40026 PCI Low Profile SATA II (3.0Gb/s) Controller Card
Oman7, Do you have any PCIe slots available, the small ones (1x & 4x). If you do this is the card to get. Uses the same controller that the GigaByte uses for the purple connections. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...87003&cm_re=esata_card-_-15-287-003-_-Product If you can use it, it's the card to buy! The only reason for the low ratings on most of these cards is people don't want to read the instructions, then blame the card because it doesn't work! LOL!! Comes with cables and everything. Much better card than that Rosewill! Russ
Nice cards MR Movies, but I really need the eSATA ports. My front port on my haf932 is all buggered. Thanks russ. Shame it doesn't have 6 ports total, but I suppose with PCI e, that would be pushing the bandwidth of that "small" port I hope the reviews are wrong about only being able to utilize 2 ports simultaneously.
That makes at least three of us at aD then. Yet people still don't listen when I criticise CM's build quality

Oman7, I suspect that the price would go up considerably if you could utilize more than 2 ports at a time! Russ
If that's true russ, then I have to go with my other card. Unless I'm prepared to spend 30$ on ONLY eSATA ports. Is that worth it? Or are there cheaper cards that only have eSATA?
Well holy crap, that's perhaps rather ironic, given I've been spending very minimal time at aD recently to focus on my revision and coursework. I'm honoured
Hehe, wondered why DDP and then myself (in that order, obviously) don't count , hadn't seen that thread 'til Shaf mentioned it ~
No, I saw a 2x card that had 8 ports but it was a professional card, LSI, 3ware, Adaptec, Intel, or Promise and was around $800 so I thought that might be a little high for your needs. I think it was LSI but it might have been 3ware. When you get into large cache cards with battery backup, normally SAS capable, the price goes north fast.
