Better yet, do as I did...Google each and every part you want...Use price comparison engines (i.e. PriceScan, Pricegrabber, etc.) to expand searches...I ended up building my new PC Build largely in this manner and while I did end up buying some things at Newegg, it wasn't the cheapest for everything...Good source for considering user reviews, however.

aspire: Try going into the BIOS and going to "case intrusion check" and turning that off. I don't see why that should stop you booting, but it's worth trying that first.
GTR35: What is it you want to build? That's a lot.

Here's one for you, my case has no PC speaker and I'm not about to go buy one, so how might I transfer PC speaker sounds to my sound card?

Don't think so, there should really be a loudspeaker plugged into the port on the board, but obviously there isn't one.

i dont think you can sam as the sound cards arent working during post. you could try to hook the system speaker pins to the cd in on your sound card but i doubt it will work.

just buy one if you need one they are only about £5.

iv un plugged mine now that every thing is working fine.

    sam,
Hook up a speaker to your speaker pins on your mainboard!!!
Sit it in the bottom of your case, all it does is beep!!!

That would mean soldering a connector on though, and I didn't really want to bother with all that.

find an old at or atx case to get a speaker that already has the connector on it.

Adding a few last minute addons to my new PC and at the suggestion of Sam, I am going to connect my old IDE HDs via a SATA HD External Enclosure...Unfortunately, can't seem to narrow a selection down.

Saw some great reviews on Vizo Luxon External HDD Enclosure but they appear to be harder to find than Hoffa...Anyone have a suggestion?...Hoping to keep it under $40.

BTW, what is the difference between eSATA and SATA connections?...Can't seem to figure out if my M/B supports eSATA (Asus P5B Deluxe Wi/Fi).

    Gratzie

None, the cable is exactly the same, except that when you use an external drive, it's not powered by the PC's PSU, it runs off its own power brick.

I don't use one, but I can tell you right off the bat they're not worth the cost. They're nearly £200 in the UK, and while they render extra physics in a small handful of games (more games use Havok which utilises the graphics card instead) the net result is more for the graphics card to render and therefore lower performance. For their current price I'd avoid. I wouldn't buy one unless they were £50 or less.
